Now, I have to say a few things I like about CAA. (I like the C (alot), the A, and the A )
I haven't been on many forums in the past, and I'm usually afraid of joining them because I have this false premonition of thinking they're abandoned. NOT SO in this case. I'm very pleased to find the community active. Though I haven't been a member long I intend to keep up with it and make sure other new members like myself have a similar experience.
Other than that, I second the other +s that have been posted here...
And that's all I can think of for now.

So far, it's the best online forum I have ever joined.

I don't think I officially joined CAA until well after I was over my Anime obsession (I lurked for like a good 6 months or something prior to joining). That is not to say that I won't watch a decent Anime if I find one, I just don't watch them anywhere near as much as I used to.

So yeah, like quite a few people here, I came for the Anime discussion, and stayed for the people.

Anywho, Another thing I like is that most of the people here tend to be on their best behaviour. Everywhere else on the web, it seems like the anonymity makes people think they can get away with being jerks.

It's boring but not wealthy. People just thought I was a girl a lot on my old username. That's part of the reason I changed it.

My favorite thing is definitely the people. With my amazing internet, that's pretty much all I can get out of this site. XD But yes, the recommendations and reviews are great.
I'm made some of the best friends I've ever had on here, and met many more fantastic people.
I like that there is practically no flaming or bashing; I think someone else said it's like everyone is on their best behavior, and I like that it's like that. XD (What an awkwardly worded sentence... @_@)
