Your Favorite Animal

Postby rocklobster » Wed Nov 03, 2010 4:44 pm

I love animals! And so this thread is dedicated to our furry (or not) friends. What are your favorite animals?
Here are mine:
Dolphins
Wolves Image Just baby wolves. They make my heart melt!
Dogs (they're related to wolves!)
Orangutans
Meerkats (Meerkat Manor sold me)
White Tigers
Harp Seals (especially baby ones. I had one for an avatar on here for awhile.)
Platypus (God's way of telling Darwin to shove it)
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you. I appointed you to be a prophet of all nations."

While they can be a pain in the neck sometimes, I am biased towards humans - but only in play. I often wonder why they bother with anything else.

I just want to say that while I respect your views, you should be nicer about the way you express them. Not everyone here shares your viewpoint. :)

On topic: All of the apes. They are pretty amazing, and there behaviors are often like looking at humanity's reflection in a funhouse mirror.

If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things."

If I could be a bird, I'd be a Flying Purple People Eater because then people would sing about me and I could fly down and eat them because I hate that song.

I feel like I've made this exact same post before, in another thread, that was exactly the same as this one...nah, it must be my imagination.
Platypus (God's way of telling Darwin to shove it)

Panda (Nature's way of telling Creationists to shove it)

Seriously, you really wanna start that debate? Here? Do you really want your own thread locked so badly? Well, I guess considering it's just a copy of a previous thread you made, that'd be the best for it.

It's okay, guys, please calm down.
Here is a picture of a kitten to help calm the mood: Here.

Since the thread has been redirected by CK to the previous favorite animal thread (which was recently updated today and was only about 3ish months old; so you all can respond in that thread if you so choose to), to prevent confusion, I will lock this thread.

Since this thread exists already and was made only a little over three months ago, yeah, I'm gonna lock and redirect (see ChristianKitsune's link!) the conversation to the old thread. Please be careful to keep track of threads you've already made!

EDIT Oh snap just kidding, Goldie is faster than me! XD
