Just thought of another thing: I like blood. As in, I think it tastes cool, and whenever I get a cut, I suck on it (though partly just to minimize the mess). I'm not into the vampiric cult stuff, which is what some people assume, and I don't want to drink other people's blood. >.< I just like the taste of my own (and did almost start drooling at an orientation for a blood drive once, but I won't go into that.)

i'm an optimist and sometimes people think that because i'm happy all the time that i must be high on drugs. but when they say that i just say " i'm high on life. " but then sometimes that makes them think even more that i'm high.

i'm really into skateboarding but people seem to think that because i'm a girl, i shouldn't do it. they say stuff like " you're a girl. you can't skateboard, you're supposed to wear skirts and be all feminine." how am i going to skate when i'm wearing a skirt? and who says what's "feminine" anyway?

i love to play football. i used to play everyday in the summer when we lived in our old house and there were kids in the neighborhood. but anyway people thought that it was weird for a girl to be out there playing tackle football with all these big dudes. i think the guys just didn't like getting beat by a girl. once again, who decides what's "feminine" anyway?

Well, my parents don't understand me watching anime with magic in it. There's one. My parents also think that I'm going to grow up to be some teenage rocker that's always blaring music everywhere. (I'm actually nothing like that)

My pals at school...it seems I am misunderstood differently every day...would be a lot more if more people knew I was on this site...(Christian anime? What's that?)

Then there's the kids in my gym class jumping on another guy for watching Samurai X, saying "he's watching cartoon porno" (oh, I've never heard that on before) :eyeroll:
I'm back to make a post or two every couple years...

hehe yeah I know what you mean!

Aka-chan, thats kinda... weird. I've known people who liked the taste of blood, however I personally find both the concept and taste of drinking blood highly disgusting. Someone once told me "well if you're going to bleed, why not re-use the nutrients?" but the fact is that if you suck on it, your going to lose more blood, not less. As for what your digestive system does after you 'get it back' I have no idea but you need to apply POSTIVE pressure to stop bleeding.

I don't think that's really weird, Aka-chan. I'm fascinated by blood.

I'm almost obsessively optimistic. I cannot stand feeling bad. Yes, there are days when I'm depressed, but they are very few and far between. A lot of people admire me for this, (not bragging, been told that to my face) but I still feel like people misunderstand my optimism as either stupidity or naiveity (sp? eh, bah, innocence). I act innocent a lot of the time, but I don't like to think about things that will get me down in front of people. When it's dark and I'm in my room, I think about things I wouldn't dare to thnik about in front of other people because they make me cry and I don't cry in front of people. Am I making any sense at all?

People misunderstand the fact I am totally proud of my insanity. ^_^ If I were normal, I would freak. *giggle*

The choice has been made. There's no looking back. I won't let up, back up, give up, or shut up. My focus clear. My path is straight. My God, reliable. I'm a disciple of Christ.

Gods plan is like the sun. its too big and bright to look at directly, and sometimes the rain clouds cover it, but sometimes the plan dapples through the clouds and we can see beautiful glimpses of what he has in store for us.

Yeah being misunderstood stinks...but ya get used to it. I (and a friend) get to be the morbid people in our discussion-based english class. Basically everyone expects us to be for whatever leads to the most death destruction and bloodshed, granted we thought that parts of the book Hiroshima were funny but still... in accordance with that I also focus on the darker aspects of christianity to the point of morbid obsession... and i agree with aka-chan bout the blood, although i stopped the whole sucking on it thing 'cause it my step-mum (a nurse) said it wasn't really good for ya. On the bright side I can generally be found laughing maniaclly about whatever is going on... Maine=oh... is that part of canada? You got electricity and running water recently right?

Anyway the bone art actually sounds cool and fantasy stuff in nifty

I guess I dont really suffer from the same steriotypes as every one else. The one I get the most if from my older brother and my younger sister. To them Im just the goodie-two-shoes. When my brother introduces me to his friends its always "This is my brother 'kaji' the good son." (which by the way was a freaky movie). Like its part of my tittle.

I only hate it because they always think I am looking down on them. True I dont agree with their life styles, but I have never condemded them.
Let me give you an example. May 5th was my mothers birthday. We went out to Uno's. My brother showed up, drunk as usual, and he was being really loud. Shouting as though we were across the room, rather than right infrunt of him. Finaly I said something, (just "you are kind of loud') he just stared at me, with that look that says "I knew you would say that, you always look down on me."

I dont get it. It makes me more sad than angry to see him like that.
Depend on it. God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supply. He is too wise a God to frustrate His purposes for lack of funds, and He can just as easily supply them ahead of time as afterwards, and He much prefers doing so.
- J. Hudson Taylor
I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times." It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach. He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

People from South Carolina = Uneducated Rednecks that believe the South will rise again.

Ok, the Public Education System in South Carolina is lower than that of a third-world country…. which is under the rule of a communist dictator. That doesn’t mean we all are mildly retarded or slow in the head. It’s just the State lacks the general funding and determination….It’s a still a nice state… the people are real nice and the country side is beautiful. Great place to retire…. not a place to look for a job. Anyways, we’re not all rednecks… just average Americans trapped here….

OMG! I sooo feel your pain! Just because I'm from NC & a majority of my friends come to school in souped-up trucks donned with deer, duck, bass, Confederate flag, and deer headlights, as well as spend a majority of their time hunting/paintballing/wearing and driving John Deere tractors DOES NOT mean I engage in such! (Though paintballing would rock ^.^ ...yet hurt...<.<) Ya, a friend of mine, for his graduation gift, got a new John Deere tractor...<.< Someone save me from the, an I quote from Bryt, "unchartered territories of redneckville".
Not everyone is like that here! I for one am not! Ohh and people assume we spend all day at rodeos... the heck!?

okie, back on topic...

People misunderstand me in general. I tend to do whatever everyone else isn't doing and am frowned upon for it. Just recently I went up the "down stairs" and fell, getting a huge bruise on my knee. Nonetheless, I didn't care. Life's too short to be paranoid (...still trying to learn that), and people tend to want to blend in and conform. I love to paint my nails and as soon as they dry, pick it off. I am a neat freak when it comes to my notebook, homework, room, etc. and have to have everything in its place. I can't go over 2-3 days w/out my computer, and even then am in the beginning stages of trauma. I have to have everything planned and I always think through things in a long process that makes my friends worry about me... <.< so yeah the list is endless.

Ohh & one of my friends saying LOTR was satanic! O.O ya, we didnt speak for like a week! (done now... wow that was a huge post!)

GAH! I HATE WHEN PEOPLE DO THAT! Alot of the ignorant, stuck up, idiotic imbeciles at my school think all Anime and Manga is porn because someone brough Samurai Deeper Kyo to school and showed off the fanservice. GAH! ARGH!
