My first kiss!

Yesterday, I got my first kiss while on my mini-vacation! But from an unexpected source. :D

I've totally been there before. =\

Because I can never seem to get a date or have many girls actually interested in me, I make it a point to get my kisses from as many animals as I can possibly get my hands on.

Unfortunately, the state now bans me from being within 100 feet of animals. I tell you, this country... they catch you making out with an alpaca at the zoo one time, and for the rest of your life society treats you like some kind of deranged lunatic.

I don't know why a couple of people are making comments like that. I just wanted to share one of my photos from SeaWorld and was trying to make a little joke.
The Beluga "kiss" is a trained behavior and they give this photo op at the end of the behind-the-scenes tour.
Please don't turn this happy thread into something that's not what I intended it to be.
The last two posts, especially, hurt.

Sheenar, that's very cute.
Please don't take the comments Azier's and That Dude's comments the wrong way. They're not insulting you but making little jokes of their own (probably at their own expense - really). There was no intention to offend you.

Yes, I figured that they weren't intentionally being hurtful. I just struggle with processing sarcasm at times. I often think people are being serious when they are being sarcastic or are joking.
I've gotten better at seeing when sarcasm is at play, but it is still difficult to tell sometimes.

Thank you for your kindness. :)

No worries. I didn't want the misunderstanding to descend into something bad. Did the dolphin have a name? Is the person in the red and white wetsuit (behind you) one of the trainers?

I am sorry if what I said hurt your feelings...W4J has got it spot on, I wasn't trying to insult you at all, but add a little joke of my own to lighten things up.

The Beluga did have a name, but I don't remember what it was. The woman in the red and black suit is one of the Sea World trainers.
This photo op happened after their Azul show (the Beluga and White-sided dolphin show). They had each of us from the tour go up on a platform one at a time, kneel on hands and knees on the mat and tilt our heads for the "kiss." A photographer was to the right taking the photos. You can see the trainer cuing the behavior by putting her hand on the Beluga's chin.

I've had a kiss from a sea lion before. I was in kindergarten, so I cried. It smelled like fish.

Now my family always teases me about "Jake".

You REALLY need to hang out with me at lunch time after church, then. Because THAT would show you how bad me and a few of my friends can get.
