Extend toothbrush life.
Soak toothbrushes in salt water before your first use; they'll last longer.

Nyuuuuuuu, I wish I knew this D= I recently started using a new toothbrush :o I kind of want to buy a new one just to test this out.. xD

Most of these are pretty cool if true but it was my understanding that it's not a good idea to go putting table salt in your wounds. Refined table salt isn't the same as Epsom salt.

Refined salt kills bacteria and micro organisms by drying out the water. Unless you have a bacterial infection, there's no point in using table salt as it will only irritate the wound/bite.

Epsom salt is antiseptic and anti-inflammatory when diluted in water. It's even used on patients who have had surgeries and are trying to keep the cuts clean and to reduce swelling. I even use it when I need to clean out my sinuses when plants ad trees start pollinating.

I don't know if the rest are recommended but I highly advise against putting table salt in your wounds. Unless you like burning pain and irritated skin or something.

I saw this earlier today too. :) Salt and eggs seem to go together well. I'm not so sure about the keeping-ants-away function, but I'm keen to test it.

Wow! Some interesting stuff right there... I'm gonna need a new toothbrush soon. I might have to try dipping it in salt water to see if it really works! :D Thanks!

Makes me wonder what other uses we can find in such common household items...

Vinegar is an effective household cleaner.
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

Vinegar is an effective household cleaner. Salt helps toothbrushes to last longer.

Therefore, logically...when I eat salt and vinegar chips, it is cleaning my insides and helping them to last longer! Now I will eat twice as many of them as I normally do since I know how good they are for me. :3

Lol, I love Salt and Vinegar Chips as well :o The only bad thing about them is, if I eat too much, my tongue starts feeling weird :-?

Hmm, we mostly gets ants after it rains :-? Do we just sprinkle the salt around the area or mix it in water (Can't remember) o.o?
