Eureka 7: [spoiler]Ray and Charles: They were so nice to Renton. OK, they were with the enemy and were only acting that way to get info from the kid, but you could tell they weren't happy with deceiving him.[/spoiler]

[spoiler]They had no idea that Renton had been with Gekkostate until soon befor he left. Soon before Ray dies she still calls Renton he son and that she says that she's going to take them both to where Charles is. They both thought of Renton as the son Ray couldn't have.[/spoiler]

But yeah, that was terribly depressing.
