...and It was great!! almost all my freinds are on go-gaia and made some new ones!! anyone here registered to go-gaia? my user name is... Demon of my past...

yup, i am^^ mines "Elric_kun" ^^ i got hacked a few weeks ago and someone stole all my items cept the ones i have on(they stole my spare Royal Yukata;_; ) and took all of my gold i was saving(5038g)... >.> so i havnt been on much hehe...

After the hundredth time of saying to myself, "PG-13, my foot!" [note: Stronger language is more common in that quote], I just stopped caring. All the people supporting everything I am personally against bore down heavily on me, and I am not strong enough in the Lord to even try to witness again.

I will keep it as one of my links until that time where I rain down the Word onto that site so hard that the flamers will be silenced with reading my posts. That is a solemn dream of mine.

don't think of me as a Devil worshipper though, coz I joined a Metal head guild and I chose a signature with a pentagram on it... and I'm also part of an all filipino guild...

I was a cook on a hotel/bar, but the constant randomness was getting to me. That and I hated Gaia didn't help. My name might be still on the roster, but I really don't care now.

What's worse is that I read many christians on there acting like idiots flaming sinners for something we should pity them for, not strike out. I was on the edge of that line too many times for my own comfort. *Shivers at the memory of the flaming on that "I laughed while watching The Passion" thread* Like that helped anybody see the truth of our witness. Why don't I go walk down the street screaming... [EDITED by Admin Loch of BM for ranting]!!!

Unfortunately. T_T Made my heart ache for this one girl in particular, whom I got into a debate with when she flamed someone else's thread (a thread that basically said suicide was wrong). I didn't notice until later that she was a member of a Christian guild and had several bible verses in her sig.

Go-gaia doesn't really appeal to me all that much -- mainly because the conversations seem to be somewhat lacking in the skull cheese department. However I would definately say fair play to the guy who designed the place, because that site sure did take off fast. It's the largest messageboard I've ever seen and furthermore, hasn't been around for very long either (relatively speaking)

Yeah, I understand what people mean - I found myself getting heartaches every time I'd venture out of the art arena into the message board. Heartaches and anger - because many of the Christians on those boards were doing more harm to their (and our) testimony than good. There were so many deceived people who thought they understood what Christianity was all about. I think every time I would attempt to witness, an obnoxious Christian (very tempted to put that word in quotation marks) would jump on and condemn everyone to hell, or I'd get called vulgar variants of reproductive organs with a few R-rated adjectives thrown in just for fun. Sometimes I wonder if people really understand that there's a human being on the other side of the text boxes, because I highly, highly doubt most of those people would talk like that to a stranger's face.

But that's why I stayed off the message boards mostly. I would get so discouraged and weighed down with the perversion and new-age mindset. While I think that the majority of the members are immature pre-teens who are just flexing their horrible vocabulary, there were some people who were truly hurting there.

However, if lots of you are going to form a solid Christian guild, I'd be interested in joining. Maybe if we can get enough of a lump of us together, our sincerity might be heard above all the trash. I'd personally rather it not be associated with CAA, though. That would be the equivalent of inviting the trolls for tea.
