New Thundercats series

[quote="ICv2"]
Warner Bros. Animation has started production on Thundercats, an all-new animated series for Cartoon Network based on the original series from the 1980s, which followed the adventures of a team of cat-like aliens. The new version, which is a collaboration between Warner Bros. Animation and Studio4C, the Japanese animation studio responsible for The Animatrix, Gotham Knights and Halo Legends, promises to give the characters a “new cutting edge look while remaining true to the compelling storyline and mythology of the original series.â€

Hmmm...I hope it lives up to my childhood favorite. If so, I look forward to it.

I reserve judgement until I see it myself. Here's hoping it won't be another Transformers Animated. Ugh. That was just not right.

What was wrong with Transformers Animated? It was pretty much the best Transformers since Beast Wars, way WAY better than RiD or Armada.

I didn't like the animation style.

This sounds cool. I never really got into Thundercats. I always thought about watching some episodes but never did. I don't like that it will be anime style. I am sick of American things being forced into becoming anime. I mean I like Gotham Knight and Halo Legends but still those were movies not series. It makes me worried for future returns of classic cartoons. Such as Thundarr The Barbarian. A favorite of mine from that era. I would hate to see that come back in anime format. I'm sure this series will be good but I just don't like the fact that America keeps trying to copy Japan. We have our own art style, lets use it.

Say it with me now,

Thunder . . . Thunder . . . Thunder . . . Thundercats! HOOOOO!

Most definitely. I'm not sure why people would hate TFA. It was an awesome show.
