Woldn't it be cool if they were to do a series where the characters from Inuyasha meet the characters from Rurouni Kenshin? My friend, who brought this up with me, already has written a sort of opening story for it.

"The principles are settled. Life is the pageant of men and women living up to them or failing to live up to them--and I think that to-day, if we are to save ourselves, we need to close our minds, to take honors worth for granted and to escape back into certaity from the atmosphere of eternal questioning."

I don't know if that would work. Kenshin's world is very realistic with the exception of the fighters' speed, strength, and jumping abilities. Inuyasha, on the other hand, is full of mythology and magic. It seems like a difficult combination.

could be but the basis of my friends story is that Naraku gets enough gewel shards to travel in time and he goes to the Magi Era. Saito and kenshin and people fight him back and fall through the time portal with him. He accidentally, while he is running drops a shard so he can't time travel anymore and Kenshin picks it up. Kagome senses the shard and then a whole story follows.
