Yu-Gi-Oh! Abridged Q&A?

Postby minakichan » Wed Apr 07, 2010 8:36 am

So, this is supposed to be kind of hush-hush, but my school anime club is doing a virtual Q&A with LittleKuriboh, creator of Yu-Gi-Oh! Abridged. We have some ideas of what to ask him, but since this is kind of a rare opportunity, I thought I'd ask if anyone here has any good questions that they'd want us to ask. Anyone?

This isn't an inspired question, but it does reflect the kind of thing I like to hear in these interviews. Hopefully someone will ask questions about his creative process, how he decides which parts to use and what thought went into the new personalities of the characters. Often asking about the running jokes can often lead to the best stories. Also, I'm curious how he feels seeing some of his gags used and over-used on the internet.

Link us whenever it comes out. This has the potential to be interesting.

Creative process questions are good; I'm also curious how long he takes and how much of his script changes as he records. Totally going to ask about his stuff turning into memes.

I might be live-streaming this, actually, on UStream under my username jennifu, Saturday 5PM EST. This all depends on whether I can get my setup to work. Crossing my fingers!

Ah, you're so lucky! Well, why not ask him how he chooses the footage that goes into each of his episodes. That, and how he decides to exploit the footage for comedic effect.
