Friend needs prayer

Postby ShiroiHikari » Thu Apr 29, 2004 8:20 pm

Here's what his mom posted in his journal tonight.

"Dominic left for the Air Force last Tuesday, as you all probably know...He developed cellulitis from a sore (caused by his boots) and is currently on "medical hold," which means that he is is limbo. Once his foot gets better, and he can walk again, they will put him back in basic training, right where he left off."

I'd appreciate any prayer anyone's willing to lift up. He's a pretty good (online) friend of mine. (He also isn't a Christian...)

Thanks guys ^_^

Can do. Cellulitis from a pressure sore ... ouch. That can take a few days of IV antibiotics, plus good wound care, so he may need a little while to recuperate.

Of course! Perhaps joining the air force will help him to realize the reality of both death and God.

I'm praying.

I will definitely add to his prayers having my own bout recently with infections (staph for me) and their not-so-fun-ness. I can empathize with your friend. *nods and toddles off to pray*

Good news! I heard from Dominic's mom, and he's getting better. She says he might be able to go back to basic this coming week!

Thanks for all your prayers ^_^ (although keep him in your prayers anyway...pray for his salvation.)
