I probably said this earlier in this thread if I even posted here (I can't remember and don't feel like looking back, XD), but I usually ship cannon pairings since I'm okay with them most of the time. The only cannon pairing I don't like is Ran x Tatsuki from Super Gals. Tatsuki is just annoying and isn't really a good fit for Ran in my opinion. Besides, poor Yuya is adorable with his crush on her, XD.

I also seem to be in the minority of people who ship Lelouch x Kallen from Code Geass, but I'm really not super stoked about any pairing in that series mostly because, from what I've seen (which is the first season), not much is there except Shirley's crush on Lelouch. Yeah, there's all the C.C. stuff, but Lelouch and C.C. just don't strike me as a couple for whatever reason, XD.

Other than that, one of my new favorite pairings is Haruhi x Kyon from the Haruhi series. They are adorable and they should actually get together soon, XD.

There are lots of great ones, but the one that does it for me is Renton x Eureka from Eureka Seven. I have by no means seen tons and tons of anime, but this relationship, out of all the ones I've seen, feels the most authentic to me. Most of the other anime couples I know of spend the entire run of their respective shows gathering the courage to ask each other out, or suppresing their love for their future mates. Don't get me wrong: these patterns can be, and are, done really well in many anime. However, it's refreshing to see a couple go through the sorting-out-the-feelings stage, actually get together fairly early on in a series, and then go on to overcome some problems/hurdles in their relationship. I guess what I'm saying is that Renton x Eureka felt more like a complete, multi-facteed relationship.

Eureka and renton are just amazing, a lot deeper then some animes, and Eureka isn't miss perfect or miss bad either like most animes.

Exactly. And what's great is not just the coming together of the two personalities but that both of them grow together. They are both flawed and continue to be flawed at the end, but they have grown toward each other because they love each other.

Same here. I want to watch it, but I also need to finish Kino's Journey and catch up on Brotherhood.

It's one of my all-time favorites (as I'm sure everyone knows by now), but it does take a handful of episodes to really get going. By episode 9 or 10 things really pick up. Also, the mood of the show changes over time. What you have at, say episode 4 is different from what you have at 24 or even 15. If that sort of thing doesn't bother you, then you simply have to watch it.

It is worth buying, trust me. Save money for the Collected Memories set. It has both seasons, plus the movie. Then we just have to wait for the OVAs to be dubbed.

Yeah, Heinkel is only revealed as an obvious girl in a random oneshot peripheral to Hellsing canon, as I recall. o.O For the most part, she's androgynous, so I wouldn't worry too much. If not a couple, certainly some awesome Heterosexual Life Partnership going on there [thanks, TVTropes!]~
