Oh so many. But at the tippy-top of the list would have to be Danny Kaye. :) I adore him. Then, Audrey Hepburn, Ingrid Bergman, Gregory Peck, Cary Grant, Wendy Hiller, and of course Jimmy Stewart, just off the top of my head.

People in this thread are all kinds of awesome.

So here are some of my favorites that have not yet been mentioned:

Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton, Harold Llyod, Humphrey Bogart, Clark Gable ... The list could go on.

I could produce a ton more, depending on what time period we are talking.

If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. Thanks for calling me awesome.
But seriously, I forgot to mention that I also like River Phoenix. I guess he counts as classic since he's been dead since the 90's.

Probably Danny Kaye and Audrey Hepburn. I absolutely love Court Jester and Wait Until Dark - two very different but very good movies.
You can find out things about the past that you never knew. And from what you've learned, you may see some things differently in the present. You're the one that changes. Not the past.
