Chatting

Postby Kovyn Alander » Sat Apr 24, 2004 6:06 pm

We need an official chat room or something here to be able to chat with others that just happen to be online. Until that happens I was thinking someone should create a CAA group on MSN. They give you a chat room with the club. You don't have to pay for the chat there like you would otherwise. Anyone care to give their oppinion on this?:pinned:
One day an old man, Jesus and Moses were out playing golf. Moses hit the ball and it landed in a pond. Moses then raised his hands and parted the waters of the pond and struck his ball out from the bottom and walked out and the let the waters back down to normal. Jesus hit his ball and it landed in the same pond. So Jesus walked out onto the water. His ball floated up to the top and was then hit from atop the water to land on the green. The old man swung his club and hit his ball. It was headed for the same little pond but as it was about to splash down a frog appeared and swallowed the ball. At that same moment an eagle came down and snatched the frog. The eagle flew above course over to the green and dropped the frog next to the hole. The frog then spit the ball out into the hole for a hole-in-one. Jesus turned to the old man and said "Dad, if you don't quit doing that, we're not going to let you play with us anymore."

I usually take to CAA people on AOL Instant Messenger. I find that that works quite well. However, if someone wanted to start a CAA chat room, that would be fine.

My opinion is that AIM is more popular.

As you probably know, we do in fact have a chat page on caa, but no one uses it.

Funny you should mention MSN, Kovyn-- CAA started out on MSN groups XD We just got this domain and stuff about a year ago. The old boards are probably still there...^_^;

I never check the chat anymore because no one logs in ._.

Slightly offtopic, if anyone wants to reach me on AIM, PM me first so I can add you. My security's set up so no one can see me unless they're on my list. ^^;

Also, another suggestion-- if any of y'all have MSN messenger, it's really easy to do a group IM with it~ I'm kurai_hikari@hotmail.com :3

I'm not against anyone talking to me, so I'm all for a chat. ^_^ I've never actually looked into that chatroom before. Apparently it wouldn't do too much good to anyway since no one's ever there.

The choice has been made. There's no looking back. I won't let up, back up, give up, or shut up. My focus clear. My path is straight. My God, reliable. I'm a disciple of Christ.

Gods plan is like the sun. its too big and bright to look at directly, and sometimes the rain clouds cover it, but sometimes the plan dapples through the clouds and we can see beautiful glimpses of what he has in store for us.

The chat room here is a wee bit confusing, and I think it's somewhat set up like an RPG or something. I'm on AIM and MSN a lot, so we get a chat going in either of those, count me in.

I'll have to agree with Spencer on that chat rooms already here. They're kinda set off to the side where you have to look for them and they're a bit confusing. If they were more setup like Yahoo or something it'd be a lil easier. MSN has always been what I've used. I'm Kovyn_2k1@hotmail.com. Feel free to add me as I am adding anyone else that puts their MSN info down as well. I'm always willing to chat when I'm online. As Shiroi put it...PARTAY! :grin:
