Le sigh. If only my dragon avatar wasn't so cool, I would switch it for my twirly Al one in a heartbeat. But maybe I'll get me a cool Al picture for my sig. I don't know why I find myself so attracted to Al when it comes to sigs and avatars. Maybe because he's the less likely of the two brothers, but he's every bit as cool as Ed.

It might be a good idea to keep info about character deaths in the /spoilers tags, just in case someone who doesn't know of such things comes into the thread.. =)

As for favorite characters, mine would have to be Hughes, Scar, and Hawkeye..

I have discovered a new favorite character to add to my list from watching Brotherhood... Col Mustang. In general I will have to say that I like the character development in the original much better (like others have already stated I believe), but for some reason I'm liking Col Mustang more this time around. Of course, I'm only on episode 19 or something so we will see how things progress =)

Reading manga is definately on my list of things to do once I catch up with Brotherhood.

So for fun thought I would post the AMV I made for FMA, since I don't know where else to post it and it features two of my favorite characters, Ed and Winry =) The music is "Going Under" by Evanescence. Warning: There are spoilers in the AMV.

That's a little hard. So many good eps, and quote. I can't think of it word for word, but the line that Ed said to Rosa at the beginning and then she repeats to him when she regains her voice. Very powerful line

Favorite quotes? I have two off the top of my head. I'll probably think up more, FMA is highly quotable...

I think the most real of the characters for me was Brigadier General Maes Hughes. Yes, I know his reactions to his daughter and how cute she was were totally over the top, but ASIDE from all that, his character was completely believable and natural. He was a smart man and knew when violence was needed and when it was not needed. He took things into his own hands and dealt superbly with what was at hand.

I watched the extras on the FMA movie (The Conqueror of Shambala), and found it rather funny that, when they killed off Hughes, everybody was shocked to see how big of a fanbase he had. They called the voice actor back up and said, "Uuh, yeah, dude. You had QUITE the fanclub, and killing you off when we did might not have been the best thing. Soo, uuh, let's bring you back in some flashbacks." lol. Naturally, he agreed.
