Roy, you and I, can no longer be friends. :shady: You root for Tenn. That is unacceptable.

Once again we are ranked at the bottom (below Vandy again!). Why is Loserville ranked so highly?!

(adjust tie) No respect I tell ya.

And I totally forgot to get tickets this year. XD Was distracted. Just a little this summer. XD

Wait wait wait...whose ranking Louisville higher then Kentucky? Cause whoever is doing it needs to be shot...or given a heavy dose of reality. From what I've seen, most experts I know of are picking Louisville to finish 7th in the Big East, and I Brian Bennet, who writes the Big East blog on ESPN.com and is a Louisville fan for goodness sakes, is actually predicting them to finish dead last in the Big East. I guess what I'm trying to say is, Louisville is going to be awful this year. So even if Kentucky and Louisville finish with the same record, you can rest assure that Kentucky was the better team...

I'm starting to wonder if I need to change my pick or not for the Okla St vs Ga game.

When I was listening to a high school game on the radio tonight here in Ga, they said that Cox didn't travel with the team.

I am severely bummed out about Cox. We'll see how Logan Gray does, but this could be ugly.

At least the whole TEAM didn't get the flu.

Six hours and fourteen minutes to kickoff...

Yep, that is what was reported on ESPN, but they said that he would still play. It wasn't until last night that on high school football radio show that they said that Cox didn't travel with the team. ESPN still hasn't said a word if he going to play or not like they said that he would.

Also, running back Caleb King for Georgia didn't travel with the team as well. He's out with a hamstring. I hate that he will not get to play as he is like #2 running back on Georgia and should see more playing time this year. He played out of Parkview High School for a few years, before leaving and going to Greater Atlanta Christian High School for his final year or so and was #1 rated running back in Georgia and #8 rated in the country in 2007.

So, will be going with Sophomore Richard Samuel will replace record-setting tailback Knowshon Moreno in Georgia's backfield. It took me a min to think if I heard of him, but yep. He played at Cartersville High School and saw him play in a few playoff games,. when Cartersville made it to the Dome a few years back.

The Noon games are finishing up...here's some random thoughts from them (mostly from WVU vs. Liberty...):

-WVU's Kick coverage is still horrendous, though maybe it's gotten a little better. At first, it seemed like every kick return was going for major yards, but as the game went on it seemed to get better. Still, this does not bode well for future games on WVU's schedule (like Cincy...)

-Besides that, WVU's defense got off to a slow start as well, but seemed to tighten up as the game went along. They weren't particularly dominant but seemed to return to about what they were last season. Offensively, WVU played pretty well, with Jarret Brown having a very good game and, not surprisingly, led the WVU offense to a very productive first game. With that being said, our O line needs to improve.

-A note about Liberty...Mike Brown was amazing. In fact, he was the entire reason the game was as close as it was. For some reason, WVU just couldn't cover him...

-The only solace I have in this tighter then expected game, is that A)Liberty is actually a pretty good FCS team and B)ECU struggled against Appy State as well, making next week's game very interesting.

-Northern Iowa gave Iowa quite the scare...perhaps Iowa isn't as good as we thought they were...

-Not surprisingly, Ohio State managed to just beat Navy. Proving that Ohio State is pretty good and that Navy is still a tough outing for just about everyone.

-Greg Palus led Syracuse is actually...decent...wow, the 'Cuse may be back on the road to being a big name program again...

-Tennessee...just wow...I know its Western Kentucky but dang...Kiffen is really sending a statement with this one...

Edit: Also, it looks like Cox is playing for Georgia...unless this is a different Cox...

Its the same Cox. I think that maybe the didn't travel with the team was not meaning that he wasn't coming to the game, but he just travel by himself, since he may had the flu.

I watch the Tennessee game and got to see a little bit of the Navy vs OSU game.

Didn't see much of the Syracuse game, did they win?

After the Tennessee game, I flip over to see OSU vs Navy and then started to watch the Ga vs Okla St game.

Lane Kiffin had mix feelings about how the game was played for Tennessee. He felt that we did shot our self in the foot a few times in the first half and said that Tennessee should have been up by five or six touchdowns and not just four touchdowns.

SC and Notre Dame are obliterating their opponents at the moment. I'll be seeing what's up with the BYU game when it comes on. (also UCLA, but we arn't picking that one)

@Roy: Syracuse lost by 3 in overtime...still, that's impressive when you consider this is Syracuse we are talking about.

Back and forth, watching it and the Va Tech vs Alabama game.

The Dome is rocking after Va Tech run a 98 year kick off return.

UCLA 10 and SDST 14 with 11:46 2nd Qtr

That was... insane. I'll have to call one of my friends that was there in the stadium sometime tonight and get a rundown of what it was like. I would expect a game of that intensity somewhere during mid season conference play, and I would say that both with injuries and the morale hit... OK is gonna be hurting for a while.

Oklahoma loses... and most of the blame rests on the coaching staff. The poorest job of adjusting to the opponent/changing conditions I've seen in a while.

Alabama took the lead over Va Tech, 24 to 17 in the 4t qtr.

Edit: 9:22 to go in the ballgame and its Alabama 27 and Va Tech 24.

That's what Bob Stoops does best. He just about always does the poorest job of adjusting to a opponents or changing conditions in big games.

Edit two: The Alabama vs Va Tech game is over and the score was Ala 34, and VT 24.

Wash vs LSU is about 5 mins to go and its tie 10 to 10.

The Washington-LSU game last night seems to have left both sides feeling good about themselves...of course with Washington that wouldn't be too hard seeing as how they've got no where to go but up...

I think Washington feels better about themselves then LSU does. To me, LSU look a bit sloppy on offense. Their Defense was better, but they have to get a lot better on offense, if they want to make a run in the SEC West.

The FSU vs Miami game just got over with Miami winning 38 to 34.

This and the Okla vs BYU game have been the best ballgames of this weekend.

Its only got good in the 2rd half of the game. Tech had a 21 to 0 lead in the first Qtr and then it was 24 to 7 at halftime.

After that, Clemson came back cut it to 21 to 24, then tied 24 to 24. Then it was field goal for both Tech and Clemson until Tech kick the one to go up 30 to 27.

Really, I'm not please with the Tech's outing. This game should have been over at halftime and Tech kind of just gave up in the 3rd Qtr.

If they keep doing that kind of crap, they will not beat Miami, FSU or Va Tech this year.

They are not really that good. Well more like Dan Hawkins doesn't have a clue and keeps playing his boy. Colorado fans have already shown that they are haven't been happy in the past two years that Hawkins keeps playing his boy, Cody Hawkins. Its not to say that Cody Hawkins is a bad QB, but he is only 5 foot 11 and at times, when the O line are standing up and he has to move around, he can't see over their heads to pass to open WR's.

Cody Hawkins is a Jr this year and ever since he came to Colorado, more or less with his dad. He has been the starter since he was a Fr in college.

Colorado has four more QB's. Three of them Fr and one is a So QB. All of them are taller then Cody with the shortest one being 6 foot 1. A lot of fans feel that Dan has too much love for his son and doesn't want to pull him out and give the other QB's a shot. After this, I feel that Dan will have to make a change or he will have to start looking for a new job next year.

Its bad, when you were only a 3.5 point favorite on the road vs Toledo.
