Favorite Naruto Manga Character

Yeah, I'd like to see if Gaara's Desert graveyard can crush his bones ^_^


plus Rock Lee and Gaara's abilities compliment each quite nicely. Gaara could sit back with stuff like Sand Shruiken or Desert Coffin/Graveyard or even use Armor of Sand on Rock Lee giving him an incredible defense. Like ulimate close-combat abilities with really good long-range defensive abilities

If not the bones, there's always the flesh...

Were I Gaara, I'd go for the Armor of Sand. If the bones can't pierce that sand, Rock Lee's TaiJutsu will be useful again. Of course, Desert Coffin is always good for quick opponents.

The first time when I got quite annoyed with Sasuke was when he was recovering and completely ignored Sakura's kindness. Slapping the apple pieces from Sakura's hands AND stepping on them was the meanest thing ever >_<

Second part, when he decided to follow Orochimaru's group. I was screaming internally..."Baka baka don't do it!!"

Now that he's becoming evil...he had better do a good job at being evil

[spoiler]Eh, I wouldn't go that far. However, it will be interesting to see what happens when Naruto catches up to Sasuke.

On one hand, Sasuke is willing to do whatever it takes to gain enough power to kill his brother. And at this point, he seems convinced that Orochimaru is the only one who can give him that power.
A pact with evil to defeat another evil, if you will...

On the other hand, we have Naruto who, in typical Naruto fashion, doesn't quite understand everything and yet, with his promise to Sakura strengthening him, is determined to bring Sasuke back.
And Naruto is not one to break his promises...

I think Sasuke will end up getting trained (at least minimally) by Orochimaru because you often see Sasuke with a snake, which is Orochimaru's summon.


Personally, I'd absolutely DIE to see Sakura get trained by Tsunade which think she does, since I think you see Sakura with a slug (i think).

I see. He certainly does have some creepy techniques (particularly the rib cage one). The biology of that is ludicrus, but I'm hardly counting. Then again, it's a bit more realistic in that we now know he can split his bones, which allows for a few techniques.

I always figured he used chakra to hold himself together inside, because I don't see how he could do it otherwise... -_- Of course, this is also a manga where loudmouth kids wearing bright orange jackets can be ninja.

I love the fact that Masashi himself makes fun of that in an interview. It's good to see that he doesn't take himself too seriously.

But unless he extended his rib cage for that attack (which is probably the best explanation, though he'd have to split them apart, too), his internal organs sort of just disappeared.

[spoiler=animals]We see Naruto on a toad, Sasuke on a snake and Sakura on a snail because they're the eternal three animals. Masashi explains this in one interview, in which he points out that they form an almost paper-rock-scissors relationship. Still, I wouldn't want to see Sakura trained by Tsunde either.[/spoiler]

I wonder if Sasuke has truly become slightly evil. He's completely focused on killing his brother, to the extent that I don't think he really cares about Orochimaru. Would he do anything Orochimaru asked if he thought it would get him more power? Or is he essentially just using Orochimaru? Does that make him more or less evil?

Conversely, recently we've seen him laugh evilly in a bizarre font.[/spoiler]

True, but I'd already provided an explanation for that one anyway. I was more wondering about the ribs.

Ironically, unless his bloodline includes a self-healing factor, he's done more damage to himself than any of the warriors fighting him have.

He sure doesn't suffer any calcium deficiency, does he? Sorry, couldn't stop myself. Found that ability somewhat creepy at first but then again, he's quite a monster. I must say that was creative on the author's part.

Yes, you do have to be a member of NarutoFan to see the trailer. Not that they have high admission standards or anything.... Personally, I wouldn't reccommend the trailer unless you like extremely short clips or know Japanese. Not bad, just short.

Speaking of cosplaying, I've decided that the only character I'm capable of doing a decent job of cosplaying at the moment is Haku since I have long black hair, dark eyes and (doh!) a female face. And when I've succeeded in doing so, I will post a pic. (this might take a while though)
