The one-man project that has gotten off-and-on publicity for two and a half years is finally coming out. Release in Japan on August 22.
I'e been curious about this ever since seeing a trailer for it two years ago. It originally appeared to have fizzled away, but earlier this year Aniplex announced they were picking it up.

For some reason, I thought Cencoroll was some kind of weird, artsy film about a dragon. Just about the only other thing I knew about it was that ryo/supercell composed the music for one of the trailers. I have to say, actually having looked at it properly now, it seems pretty cool. So I guess that's four movies now that I need to remember to check out in six months' time, along with Eva 2.0, Summer Wars, and KnK7.

Well you had the supercell connection right, anyway. ANN has the trailer song down as the ED, incidentally.
