Looking for con-goers and meeting up in Australia

Hello everyone! I recently moved to Australia and I have no friends here that share my anime/videogames persuasions, let alone Christians who do and i'm starting to feel lonely without someone to relate to, so I was wondering if there are any CAAers in Melbourne wanting to meet up. I'm looking forward to the convention called "MAnifest" in two months but I'd love to have some friends to go with and not be the sad kid wandering alone the halls while everyone else mingles in groups.
