Cowboy Bebop: The Tv Series

I've heard that there is an edited version of Cowboy Bebop out there, which doesn't have the nudity/gay scenes. Does anyone know if any of the legal copies have these edits, or were these just bootlegs?

The Adult Swim edits?

This was never released on DVD to my knowledge, although I'm sure bootleggers have ripped it off TV to sell illegally.
Several of the Toonami shows had edited cuts legally released, but those are long out of print. I don't believe any of the Adult Swim shows ever did.

I cannot reccomend enough this series unless you have very strong objections about mild swearing and fictional violence. Otherwise is a must see.

I must say that I concur wholeheartedly with Maokun here about this recomendation to those who have not already witnessed, in my humble opinion, a very excellent series...

Sorry I just couldn't resist attempting to encourage even a single person to watch this series considering Cowboy Bebop remains one of my top favorite anime series of all time (Also somewhat evidenced by my avatar)...

Personally one of my favorite aspects of this series is the music and musical themes that influence the entire series. For me the jazz arrangements that pervade the scenes contribute greatly to the overall atmosphere and identity of this series, something that I wish could be said for many more of the series that I have seen, and for me create a very entertaining production.

The music is only one of the many aspects that I find enjoyable in this series but I could be here all day (or evening) attempting to explain all the things that I enjoy about this series. So instead I shall adjourn this positive note for CB with a thanks to Ashley for the informative review .

Love the series.

there's quite a bit of things that I like about the show.
The plot, dialogue, music the animation is pretty good.

However I couldn't finish watching the show. But from what I've watched it's a pretty good show. four and a half stars.

If you want to talk about CB then do so in the anime forum under either a new thread or a recently made thread about it. Don't go gravedigging other CB threads if they are more than a year old.
