Wow, a walking catfish sure is interesting. You learn something new almost everyday. :) I don't know of any other mysterious creatures for certain. Maybe you heard about an animal which is part horse and part zebra?

I've seen the Star Nosed Mole before when I was a kid, but I haven't seen the other creatures before.

A salamder actually (axolotl). But they do look pretty cool, and the external gills are unusual features.
The scientific method," Thomas Henry Huxley once wrote, "is nothing but the normal working of the human mind." That is to say, when the mind is working; that is to say further, when it is engaged in corrrecting its mistakes. Taking this point of view, we may conclude that science is not physics, biology, or chemistry—is not even a "subject"—but a moral imperative drawn from a larger narrative whose purpose is to give perspective, balance, and humility to learning.

Re: the catfish one.

It said there were about 30 catfish walking around their neighborhood.

I read it as "a 30-foot catfish was walking around their neighborhood..."

Why yes, I'm tired. How did you know?
