Tribute to Uncle Walter

Postby Nate » Wed May 20, 2009 3:35 am

Browsing Youtube the other day, I came across a video that someone made in memory of their uncle. It was a really touching song...I actually started tearing up during it. It's really just amazingly powerful. Be careful though, watching this video may cause you to break down crying.

From now on, every time I hear this touching song I will think of Uncle Walter. He will truly live on in our hearts.
[font="Tahoma"][SIZE="2"]"It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things."

While this video makes me curious how people actually view the afterlife, the song was very touching.

In the future, people will be making eulogies to their loved ones through video game music.

My first thought when I saw the title of this thread was of the old Ben Folds Five song, "Uncle Walter".

That was quite possibly the most depressing thing I've ever seen. Poor Uncle Walter, I shall remember him forever...
