It came with a nice sleeve and a fold-out case that held the DVDs. It was a set where there were only four DVDs, three with the complete series (8 or 9 episodes per disc) and the last disc is the movie. The company that manufactured it (or distributed it, I guess), was labelled 'fx' on the box. I am about 90% sure that it is not bootleg. If it is, then someone sure went to A LOT of trouble making the box and even designs on the discs!

I'm sorry that I'm such a dumbie! It was the first series I had ever bought, and I really didn't want to pay $120 for it! I know that doesn't excuse the fact that I should have known that it was 'too good to be true!'
Oh, well, I've learned my lesson! I promise, from now on, to always pay $30 for 3 episodes (or 4, if I'm lucky) per DVD at Best Buy or Suncoast! (maybe if they weren't so expensive people wouldn't be lured by bootleggers) I really didn't think of how rampant bootlegging is over there!

Cause I cant find it on any of the OST tracks and appareatly you guys had some classical piece, while mine was like a rock... Anyone know anything about that?

Rienna_The_Red wrote:I've seen the whole thing and the Tarot Cards didn't bother me THAT much. You have to remember that stuff like that is no big deal in Japan. However, I can say this about it- Hitomi eventually learns (by the end of the series) that it's not a good idea to trust in her cards. She discovers that her fate is determined by the choices she makes and the things she says and does, not by cards. In fact, things seem to go better when she DOESN'T consult the cards. By the end of the series she packs them away, convinced that she's better off without them.

The only thing that makes me mad about Escaflowne is, why they made two good songs and they didn't use them for the anime.
The songs are called If you and love.
Love is like a J-rock song, but its really cool.
If you was a nice song that would have been nice to have use at the end of the last EP of Escaflowne.

There are OST 2 for Escaflowne.
There are seven songs that were not use in Escaflowne, but they made it to the soundtrack.
I know that any anime or any movie for that matter have some songs that will not make it in.
I just wish these two did.
If you is a love song that mixes piano with a nice slow electric guitar solo in the middle of the song.
Love is a J-rock electric guitar song that has a nice beat to it.
I look for the Lyrics for them. And too, both of the songs are english.
