An interesting Exercise in Human Kindness

Would you help these little robots?

I probably would help one. Might even be more likely to help one than a lost looking person, come to think of it (a smiling cardboard robot won't think you have ulterior motives).

This is all fun and games until the robot shows up at a foreign embassy.

Nifty little experiment though, though I have to wonder how many of those same people would have taken time to help someone who wasn't made out of cardboard.

The robots are pretty cute but I think it's sort of sad that people are more willing to help little cardboard robots than actual human beings.

Eh I dunno, I find that there are lots of people who are willing to help you if you need directions or something. Though it depends on what your asking for. XD

AWE MA GAWSH.

Yes, but this guys task is simple: point a to point b.
If there was a person who needed help getting from point a to point b, I think most people are willing to help.
But people in need have problems that aren't that simple =\

I love this little guy. ^_^;;

Awwwwwwww, I would so jack that robot too <33 It's so cute ^__^

The thing is, not everyone will actually ask for directions >_>; It may be a pride thing, but I've met alot of people who won't ask for directions if they had trouble finding said destiation o_o

It's not that people won't help.. It's that some people won't ask ^ ^;

(Hope that didn't come off wrong. It's just somethign I've noticed personally ^ ^)

I just LIKE figuring things out on my own. I like overcoming obstacles, and all that cliche' shiznit =P.
I mean, if I've genuinely exercised every possible mean, I'll ask =P.

Lol, I tend to be the same way ^^ Unless, it's somewhere you have to be there ASAP and whatnot :-? Then, asking for directions may be the best thing to do ^__^

Kindness? Is it really altruistic or is it egoistic?

Are people helping this little robot to be helpful? Or are they doing it because it's interesting, or the robot is cute, or that they pity the small helpless robot?

Perhaps the altruistic people aren't helping the robot because they know that it's just a small box-thing on wheels?

Just a thought.
