Favorite mythological/Fantasy creatures

Postby rocklobster » Mon Mar 23, 2009 5:38 pm

I've always loved fantasy stuff, especially for the creatures that only exist in imagination. My favorite fantasy creatures are:
fairies
dragons
unicorns
what about you?
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you. I appointed you to be a prophet of all nations."

Qilin are awesome. Seriously. Magical giraffe.

Dragons and wyvers are cool, even if they are a bit overdone.

Also: aliens, time travelers, and espers.

Yes.

Ryan is my favorite mythological creature. Elves and dragons and stuff are cool, but I like it when authors invent their own/use ones that no one really knows about.

I really wouldn't consider Elves creatures, considering they're more of a race. At least in the sense of Tolkien's influence.

*Pegasus
*Nue
*Mermen (They might also be considered a race... >.> )
*Dragons

The Eggplant Man.
"To be a good listener, you must acquire a musical culture...you must be familiar with the history and development of music, you must listen...to receive music you have to open your ears and wait for the music, you must believe that it is something you need ...to listen is an effort, and just to hear has no merit. A duck hears also." - Igor Stravinsky

a jackalope --"it is said to be a hybrid of the pygmy deer and a species of 'killer rabbit'" --there is also a flying variation --which is hilarious

"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
