I'm sure that there's quite a few of us here, so big family people, unite!

Personally I'd say my family is on the smaller side of the "big family" spectrum, there's six of us kids in my family. I'm the third. What about everyone else?

[size="1"]An older brother by one year, a younger brother by one year, and an older sister by seven years... not sure if that counts as big. O-O

I think that the definition of "large" will vary from region to region.

Where I live, my family is considered big. There are six of us in the immediate family. I have an older sister, a younger brother, and a younger sister.
[font="Tahoma"][SIZE="2"]"It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things."

:D I'm from a family of seven! There's me, my twin sister, my parents, and my three older brothers!~ X3 I love being from a big family, even though it can be tough being the youngest...>.> although...I'm ten minutes older than my twin, so I suppose I'm not exactly the youngest XD

My Grandpa had fourteen or fifteen siblings though o-o

Does the previous generation count?

My dad is the youngest, he has two elder sisters and one elder brother.

My mum is the sixth out of ten siblings. She has one elder brother, one younger brother, and the rest being sisters.

Thus I have around twenty-something cousins, some of which I haven't met. Organising a reunion/gathering is also quite difficult...

That's me, but good Lord, my friends! One's parents divorced and remarried, but two of my friends are the oldest of 10 kids (counting all the half-siblings)

And personally, I've always thought a large family was six or more kids.

My immediate family is only my parents, my brother and me, but my mom is the youngest of six kids, so our family gatherings are always pretty huge. XD Thinking about it, there's my grandparents and my oldest aunt and uncle (by marriage) and her three children (one of which is married with two of his own kids). Then there's my second-oldest aunt and uncle with their two children, both of which are now married and one of which has two of her own children. Following that is my first uncle, then my third-oldest aunt, then my second uncle, and then my mom. XD And when I think about the fact that my grandma's sister also had six children...yeah, it's pretty ridiculous! XD

Well with me there's my parents, than five boys, and one girl so that makes me from a family of eight. My dad was one of six, and my mom one of four. And as far as cousins and whatnot, well lets just say that family reunions are big...I mean my grandma on my moms side was one of sixteen.

And so far it looks like Robin Firedrake has the biggest immediate family...Looks like there's nine of them to the eight of my family...You win once again Robin!

I only have one brother, my mom, and dad. But my dad has two brothers. And my mom has a bunch of cousins... like 12 or something like that. Plus, my grandma (mom's side) is one of 8 children, and I believe her mother, my great grandmother, came from a family with several kids as well, though I don't remember how many.

so where as my immediate family is not very large, my extended family is vast, and I still don't know all of them. o.o
