What will your church be doing for Easter?

Mine is going to have a mdnight service on Saturday, and a lamb dinner on Easter.

Plain old Sunday morning service for us. (My mom's supposed to be bringing treats for after the service, but I volunteered to make my chocolate chip cookies for her to take. ^_^ )

My church has a Holy Thursday service, where we eat a simple meal of soup and reflect on Christ's sacrifice. Then, on Easter Sunday, we have a morning service. This year we're doing something a bit different... We're having an art exhibit on Easter Sunday! ^_^ The theme of the exhibit is new life, creation, resurrection, etc. I'll be exhibiting 4 sculptures, a drawing, and a photograph. I'm excited.

The Sunrise service and a church served breakfast is what's going on for Easter at my church as far as I know.

We have a sunrise service too. I love Easter. Definitly my favorite holiday. I usually stay for all the services of the morning. It's so pleasant! ^_^

Sunrise service, easter breakfast, and then the Easter Service at regular time.
Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. 2 Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing. 3 Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. 4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. 5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

First we have a Holy Thursday Mass when we celebrate the Last Supper, and the institution of the Eucharist and priesthood. All of the priests also wash the feet of some of the congregation following Christs example of service. Then we have a Good Friday service with veneration of the cross (no Masses are celebrated on Good Friday). On Saturday we have the Easter Vigil where we go through the salvation history in our readings, and baptize all the people coming into the Church. On Easter we have a sunrise Mass and several others throughout the day. I'm going home for Easter, so I'll be serving at all these Masses/services.

I am coming home for Easter. At my home church (as opposed to the church I attend while at school), we have a sunrise service followed by an Easter service later in the day. On Saturday I will be at a big family dinner. :thumb:

Friday we have bread and wine/grape juice for communion and then have a worship ceromony I think. Not sure. What I really like bout the Good Friday service is our church is so small so I know every single person there so it just feels cool to attend the Friday service and know the person next to you.

We get alot of people on Easter Morning. We have a breakfast instead of sunday school and then we have some the message and a choir which we usually don't do. Last sunday we had a Rock Opera basically for church  Where the worship team went through the story of Christ through singing and video fromt he movie Jesus. That was really fun. Plus I got to sit next tot he girl i like

I will be going home for Easter, and attending my home church, the one I grew up in. It is Episcopal, and the Easter morning services are very reverent and beautiful. We have a family brunch afterward.
