Those are beautiful name choices ^ ^

I've always liked (still do) liked the name Sakura ^ ^ Not just because it's Japanese either :P It just has a very pretty ring to it 8D

If it's a boy, Bucket Head.

DON'T STEAL MY NAMES!

lol anyways I really like Raiden Denzel for a boy and Esterlynn Marie for a girl

Meanings:
Esterlynn = star meadow Marie = form of Mary meaning blessed
Raiden = thunder and lightning Denzel = my deceased grandfather's name and I like it

so yeah I've really thought about this guys so PLEASE don't steal them

When I was about 10 I decided that I was going to have two little girls... and they would be named Crystal and Ariel... why I can't say... I also drew the house I was going to live in... then oddly enough, as I got older, I somehow lost interest in the idea and decided to simply study all day instead.

This of course addles my mother who would like to have grandchildren... but physics doesn't appear to friendly to such an idea :P. Hence, when she asked me this Christmas what I would name my child if they were a boy... I responded as follows...

...

...

Ghengis Khan.

I'm not exactly sure. My tastes in names changes as the years go by. I really like Seth for a boy though. Girl names are harder for me to come up with.... I have a bunch of names I'll *never* use because of bad experiences I've had with people that have those names (long lists of both boy and girl names). HAH!

Win.

As much as I love Japanese names, I wouldn't give them to any of my kids unless they were Asian or part Asian]might think about naming my children after some of my original characters, but other than that I don't really care for common names (Kate, John, Laura, etc.).

When I marry the right woman, me and her kids names will probably be this if they are boys: Steven like my name XD( only if she agrees to it), Xavier, Gabriel, and if one of them are a girl I think Naomi, Jessica, or Krystal would be suffice, XD
Some of my favorite scriptures.

Psalm91
A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

Hebrews 4-4
1Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
2For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.
3For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
4For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.

James 4
Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Grieve, mourn and wail. Change your laughter to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.

Revelation 22:14
Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Right. Which of you ghouls dug this thread up, anyhow?

I've decided I will definitely name mine Edward and Mark. Mostly based upon the fact that I did name one Edward, 17 years ago, and followed up with Mark, 11 years ago. So far, they haven't sued me, so it seems these were acceptable choices.
May the Lord bless you and keep you.
May He cause His face to shine upon you.
May He lift up His countenance and grant you peace.

I need to add one to the names I posted earlier.

Legendre Marshall.

He will probably go by his middle name, and hate me until he turns 18.

While this would be a joint venture between my wife and I (future, that is), there would have to be compromise. But, if I was able to get the names, I would do it like this:

Girls:

Sonora Reilin
Natalie Serena
Andrea Koyomi
Angela Rachael (she would grow up to be a pirate, as her initials would be A.R.R.)

Boys:

Marcus Sven (a tossback to my norwegian heritage)
Paul Hjalmar (also a tossback to my norwegian heritage)
Charles Hal (Salute to my two favorite uncles)
Hiyakawa Sayaka (my character from my writing) wrote:God has given me a gift, that I really don't know what to do with. I guess, all I can do is put it in his hands, keep my hands inside the car, and expect to end up destroying parts of Tokyo with my perfectly good guitar.

Okay, on a more serious note.
I have a feeling that no matter what names I choose, someone is going to get picked on. Ah, well. Suck it up, kids. X3

For a girl, I like the names Serenity, Jubilee, Octavia, Chlöe, Máiréad, Orla and Méav.

For a guy, I'm partial to Duilio, Cearuil, Eithel Sirion, Maedhros, Haldir, Edmund, and Dorian.

If I have kids, I don't know what to name my boy, but I wound name my girl Ediah (ee-dye-uh) Serene. Ediah means adornment of God/Jehovah or decoration from God. Aiah (i-uh) for short meaning bird. Her middle name will come from my first name Serena.

Maedhros

Since its one of Tolkien's words, I didn't know the correct way to pronounce it till much later. I always said (MAY-ed-ros), and kinda roll the R, keep the H silent. But, a fellow Tolkien fan on another site explained it this way:

MA-ethe-rross" (where the second E is silent).

I think I shall have two children, and I shall name them Nathaniel and Superfly.

Re: Nette - I think Baron Vaughn is a great name for a boy - and pretty funny to boot. He shall need a cape, though. Of course, it would be flawless, awesome win if you had a somewhat long, Germanic surname, but Baron Vaughn sounds awesome with just about any name. It's memorable, too.

Thank you Rai, haha. We would probably just end up calling him Vaughn, because that is an awesome, manly name. Also, Daymon's father originally wanted to name him Baron Vaughn, but his mom objected. Vehemently. XD

I like Japanese names, but there's no way I'd actually use one for my child. It just doesn't work. It'd be kind of like a white couple naming their white daughter Beyonce or something like that. XD
