Has anybody here traveled out of the US before?

Talk about anything in here.

This past summer my twin brother and I traveled to Japan for 2 weeks. We visited Osaka, Kyoto, Yokohama and Tokyo.
My brother and I had always wanted to go to Japan since middle school, so we figured why not? I really enjoyed both the culture and sight seeing of Japan.

Summer of 2007 we traveled to Brazil. The first weeks we stayed in Sao Paulo then the Pantanal.

I'm born, bred and raised in South Africa. It's a cool place, I like it, but I haven't ventured outside of it's borders (yet)...

I have, however, been in all 9 provinces, my favourite of which is Kwazulu Natal, the Wild Coast. Unfortunately it's like 6 hours drive away...

I've traveled through a lot of places, but places I've actually been to as a destination include far-flung places like Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, Kansas, Virginia, New York, Ontario, and North Carolina in the US and Texas, Venezuela, and Brazil out side.

I see snow all the time, well between October and June, anyways. I hope you get to play in a big old snow drift one day.

...I've only visited a handful of U.S. states, but I've filled up a passport already...at the age of 16. If you want info on Japan and Korea, feel free to PM me any time... I should be able to hold up a conversation about most anywhere... unless it's like, Luxembourg or something. I never made it to that stretch of the pond :P

We used to live in US, but i don't remember any of it. :sniffle:
I've actually traveled quite a lot. Most exotic places I've visited were South Africa and Chile.
I'd love to travel to Israel and visit US.

Grew up in California, my college is in Ohio, and a good portion of my family lives in Hawaii. I've been to China, England, France, Canada, Australia, and right now I'm living in Japan. ^-^; I've been real fortunate to have had the chance to go all over the place. I really recommend it if you haven't given it a try yet.

Where are you going? On a missions trip somewhere?

On various trips I've been to Canada, Singapore, Cambodia, Malyasia, Mongolia, and South Korea. I also studied in Beijing, China for 6 months and am currently studying in Tokyo. I've been all over the Chinese coast and a bunch of Japanese cities (Kansai area, Kyushu, etc.).

Oh, and America! I just did a road trip last year (2008 was last year, man), to South Dakota (I'm from Chicago). And I've been a ton of other states, from California to New York to Texas.

I'm an Air Force brat so I lived many places in the US. I also studied in Spain. I'm wanting to do a mission trip here soon, or maybe go see some CAA friends in other parts of the US.

Puerto Rico, but that's technically U.S. territory. So it doesn't really count, IMO. P:

I guess this question is a little different for me...

Australia (where I live now)
Hong Kong (where I was born and lived for my first 8 years)
China (visited relatives there)
CA, USA (visited relatives there)
Nevada and Arizona, USA (sightseeing)
New Zealand (for a holiday)

Would love to go to Hong Kong again (for the canto-pop and mando-pop CDs), and also see Japan (toys!) :D
