Greetings all~!!

Hope you all had a Merry Christmas, I know I did. My family and I thanked the Lord for coming down on this day and we prayed and celebrated advent.

We then gathered around the tree watching Christmas movies and opening presents.

I would like to ask, what did you receive this blessed holiday (Holy-day)? ^____^

For me:

My Schtocking Schtuffers (Chocolate and such X3)
A nice red, zip up sweater
The Dark Knight DVD
Iron Man DVD
Wall-E DVD
Globus' First Album Epicon (I love this album ^__^)
Louis Armstrong's All Time Greatest Hits Album
The World's Greatest Composers Album (I'm set for University with this)
A Harmony Piano Book for my Music Theory (this I definitely need :))
A lovely card from my Grandparents with money.

Everyone was and is happy with everything they have received. We have had a grand wonderful day! Praise the Lord!
Two Steps From Hell - Tristan <--(click)
†††††††††††††
We have been here long enough to know
That we are all brothers and sisters in Christ,
So if you are in need of help,
We shall give you His advice.

May God add his blessings upon you,
That you will live this day and forever,
And when He comes to the earth again,
We will all go together...

Into Heaven for Eternity...

From my mother in law I got a puppy!...ok ok...I got two...seriously. One was early, the other was way early. One is a black long haired chihuahua named Tiana, and the newest one is a Blue Heeler named Jessie. My parents got me and my husband a pressure cooker...yeah...not sure when I'll use it, a garnishing tool, and a variety of miscelenious things. Oh, they also did their anual tradition of getting him a new watch. For some reason his sweat eats through stuff...so he'll break that band in a few months if he wears it everyday. We did nothing for Christmas day. Just stayed home...Micah was sick in bed all day anyway so...yeah. ok. that's it. :)

I got several new dress shirts (including a couple with French cuffs!), a new, lighter bass amplifier, an expanded translation of the New Testament, and my new baby - a Gibson Limited Edition Les Paul Standard in a beautiful sapphire blue burst with white binding to match the pickguard, abalone inlays on an ebony fretboard. This guitar sings. I love it.

Let me tell you what I got:

Understanding.

Understanding that family is the bond that can never be severed, that blood runs thicker than water, and that strengthening family ties more than strengthens yourself. I understood that even what small minded people would consider "token support" can carry those in need longer than anyone could have imagined. I understood that without family and without giving, that I am have a hollow inside of me and that I am... nothing. I really didn't want to go to my parents' house for the holidays but I feel that I am the better for it, and that doing what is right and noble has a greater return on investment spiritually, if not financially.

I also got some clothes and shoes but that doesn't matter.
