I was wondering has anybody traveled outside of their state or out of the US before. I’ve never been out of my state, nor have I ever seen snow T__T. Sorry can’t say were I am, just that I’m from the US. Anyways… I was wondering if anybody has been to South Korea, Japan or anywhere else? I would love to go their :sniffle: As you can tell I’m obsessed over South Korea and Japan lol  I just can't stop talking about them lol :dizzy:

I think you're going to find out we have a few people here who are from Korea. A number of Chinese and/or Taiwanese, too, as I recall. And we have a few in various English speaking countries other than the US.

I've made a number of foreign trips. Country I've visited most often would of course be my wife's native Philippines. Some very neat memories, and a fascinating place to visit.

In Japan and Korea, however, I'm afraid I've only made brief layovers. I fully intend to correct that, some day.

I stayed in China for two months, have been to England twice, have been to Scotland and Iceland, and have been to Puerto Rico a zillion times. Within the U.S., I've been up and down the east coast, but no farther west than Illinois or Michigan.

I was born in Canada, spent my early childhood in the Philippines and lived mostly in the United States. (Allegedly I've spent a few days in Japan as a infant/toddler).

Surprisingly I have never been to Mexico despite my proximity. I'll have to correct that. And despite years of Spanish education, I can barely speak it >.<

My half-Filipino boys get all kinds of heck from the Hispanics at their schools. They always think my sons are snobs or something, refusing to speak Spanish.

My wife regularly gets sour looks from Hispanic cashiers because she gives them blank stares when they speak Spanish to her. With the exception of the various Spanish loan-words found in Tagalog, she doesn't know any Spanish, but they look at her and are certain she's Mexican!

I have Vietnamese friends at work who tell me the same thing happens to them.

I think I've been to around 20 states....mainly the ones traveling from Tennessee to Florida, Kansas, New York, and the ones I've been to traveling to Ontario....so I've been to Canada.....I got to go to the CN tower where there's a glass floor about 700 feet or so off the ground. I've also been to Japan where I got to go to the Nagoya castle, the Ginza in Tokyo (where I went to the big Sony building), and Toyota, where they make the cars. I also got to visit the emperor's grounds in Tokyo.

I was born and raised in the Philippines till I was 4, then we went to the U.S. and have seen about 3/4 of the states, traveling from one base (navy) to another. We go back to the Philippines periodically. Our last visit was 2 years ago; we stayed for 8 months. We plan on going back this spring for my uncle's wedding.

Uhh... states. Missouri, illinois, kentucky, tennessee, georgia, north carolina, south carolina, florida, arkansas, alabama, texas, oklahoma, nevada, arizona, colorado, Utah (when I was very very young), Kansas, Iowa, North Dakota, south dakota, wisconsin, michigan, indiana, minnesota... eh... I think that may actually be all of them.
Half the states! Noice! Never actually took count before.

Countries? Canada.
