The Whip, Hammer, and Cross/ or other Easter Dramas

Postby Lochaber Axe » Mon Apr 05, 2004 8:40 pm

This is the dramatization my church is doing for this holy month. Since so many people spend Easter together, we're having it from Last Sunday Night to Wednesday Night and I was somewhat drafted into the crew that takes care of the Last Supper scenes.

We have about 200 people working on and behind the stage with complete lighting and even pyrotechnics.

This is why I haven't been on lately.

Are any of your churches doing dramas also?

I would be very shocked if my home parish wasn't. They love to do that kind of stuff. Up here at the Abbey I would be even more shocked if they did. The monks don't seem to be big on pyrotechnics. (the abbey has burned down 3 times. They have a bad history with fire, so bad that one time even the pool burned down)

That's awesome redkorn, blessed be the name of the Lord dude. You guys are going to blessed through this.

II haven't really thought about it. I don't know if my church is going to do one. I heard they would though. I'm all for big productions but it's average size (about 100 or 120 people) so I think it won't be as big, but who knows. I know I might write one for my school's Bible Club, and my cousin invited me to be in his so I might be in one or two so that's cool. But I don't know if my church is going to do one though, they probably are.
