Don't post how you voted and start arguments, because I would like to keep this from getting locked.

I'm just curious. If you are an Adult US Citizen, did you vote today?

If you aren't, and you just gotta click something, I gave you a 'Not Qualified' choice.
May the Lord bless you and keep you.
May He cause His face to shine upon you.
May He lift up His countenance and grant you peace.

I'm not voting for one reason: when I registered, I registered before I knew I was moving, and I didn't have time to re-register. I simply don't want to drive 40 miles to fill in a ballot.

Yes, I did...Interestingly enough, I didn't hit those hour long lines...it probably has something to do with going a little before lunch....

Well, either way, whoever wins I know it's in God's hands....He's the One who allows ppl to come into office in first place...So, why should I worry?

Yeah. I started out in a time when 'Early Voting' meant showing up at 7:00 A.M. I learned my lesson about showing up later in the day in 1980 (I was one of the people who was inside the place and still waiting when the polls officially closed. We had to stand around waiting for them to get authorization to let us vote) I've been in the habit of going the morning of Election Day ever since. I think I've only done the vote-ahead-of-time thing once, because I actually did have a conflict on Election Day, but I think that was for a primary. One time I was the first guy to show up! (Okay, I'll admit, that was when I was volunteering as an election worker.)
May the Lord bless you and keep you.
May He cause His face to shine upon you.
May He lift up His countenance and grant you peace.

Just got back from voting. California's e-vote machines are pretty nice, you get to watch them print up a paper record.

If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. That's like our system. You fill the ovals in, then run it yourself into this electronic ballot box that reads the ballot and counts it, then feeds the paper ballot into a locked box underneath. (Texans have various different types, depending on what county you're in.) We used to have the exact same punch card system that created all the fuss in Florida eight years ago, and it suddenly vanished, right after that. Can't figure why.

Voted at 10 am and only took a total of 10 minutes, went back home and went back to bed.

Here in Georgia, we have e-vote machines and have had them since 2000 and they are easy.

I voted today!! Woohoo!! Actually, it could have been better. I did my homework and researched who I wanted to vote for and made a list. When I got to my polling place, I found out that I researched the wrong precinct and half of the people I had written down to vote for were not even on my ballot. This is what I get for actually looking into what the candidates before I vote for them. *headdesk* At least my polling place gave out free donuts!

Yes, I officially fullfilled my duty as an adult (ha!) citizen of this United States of America. This was actually my first time voting. Had the fill-in-the-oval cards, it was pretty simple. There was no line when I went at 11:30.

I think the third option on this poll should also have an exclamation mark. People should be able to declare their lack of qualification with just as much enthusiasm as whether or not they voted.

Yes, I did vote. Just got back from doing so actually. The voting style here was fairly interesting. We had to fill in little circles, it reminded me of the SAT...>_>

And sorry, I'm not going to answer your poll, I've had enough of voting for today. 8)
