This looked like an interesting title but wasn't sure if it was worth picking up. Has anyone here seen this anime? If so, is there anything I should know about that's contained within the show (i.e. sex, nudity, mega violence, etc)?

It's pretty good. Not much if any objectionable content. A little violence. This is also one of the rare series (serieses?) where I prefer the dub to the sub.

And don't ask which guy is L and which is R.

Ok, so why does it get the 16 and up rating? If there isn't any thing too objectionable. Is it just for cursing then?

Sort of like Paradise Kiss (the anime as well as the manga) it gets the 16 and up rating due to language, risque humor, nudity, and sexual themes.

Any of these apply to L/R? ^__^

Well, it's been a while since I've seen it. I don't remember it having any significant sexual themes, but now that I think about it more, I remember it's rather violent in parts. There's blood and stuff, but I don't think it gets really gory. The main thing, though, is that thematically it's very...I'd say "heavy". It'd be inappropriate for young audiences for the reason that a novel might be inappropriate, if you know what I mean. There aren't many specific scenes that'd be by themselves inappropriate, but on the whole it deals with some difficult themes, like death and killing. On the other hand, it's often very funny at the same time, so I don't know what to say. Probably that rating is about where it stands, for 16-year-olds or really mature 14 or 15-year-olds.

Of course, like I said, it's been a while since I've seen it. Perhaps you'll want someone else's opinion too.

Doesn't seem to have any sexual content. It aired on International Channel ^__^ There is some cursing of course.. That's probably why there's the +16 rating

Once I think of it, I did miss a couple episodes here and there, but I saw nothing of sexual content.. That I can remember anyway ^ ^;

I didn't like it at first, but I gave it another chance ^ ^ I'm not sure if you'd like it, but.. I guess it's worth giving a try? Not really romancy or anything like that, though.. I don't think :-?
