Despite the fact that I have never seen the first two Mummy movies (yeah, yeah, I know), I might go see this one, maybe. XD

I loved the first two, but I'm very... unsure of this one.

Well fiddlesticks, Rachel Weisz is not starting in the movie.

That kind of puts a downer on the whole thing.

Plus its just a little funny, that Brendan Frasier character doesn't look to have age for this moive, yet the kid grew up to be a young man. XD

I'll be seeing it. I have a soft spot for goofy action/adventure movies, and though I could see how it be a terribly bad ripoff, I think it has the potential to be fun. I'm glad they're taking a different angle with the Chinese Terracotta army. I don't know how much more Imhotep and Scorpion King after the disaster of the second movie.

Well fiddlesticks, Rachel Weisz is not starting in the movie.

Yeah, but we're getting Maria Bello instead. She's not as well-known, but she's just as talented and exceptional an actress.

I mean, I dunno about you guys, but to me, The Mummy and Indiana Jones go almost hand in hand. Yeah, one might be greater than the other, but I grew up on these guys.

i haven't seen the first two movies, and i don't really plan to. but i did see this trailer when i went to watch The Dark Knight. the graphics look quite good but the story seems inevitably cliche. i think that throwing jet li into the mix was simply part of the money-making scheme.

It was okay.

Okay, it wouldn't have been that bad if it wasn't for the Yetis.
Or the sloppy plot.

It was pretty darn crappy. And by that, I mean it SUCKED! But for some reason, I don't know why, I found it really quite fun. Kinda like watching a crappy b-movie on the big screen.

My wife and I saw this, not really impressed. It seemed to have lost the sparkle that came with the first two. The ideas of the plot also did not seem very original, felt like it's been kinda done in the first two already, only better.
