I don't really have anything more to add to this discussion, but I have to say that the title of this thread keeps one putting the Beatles' "Yellow Submarine" in my head. "We all live in a..."

In fact, given that many anime worlds are quite large, it is likely that I would not meet up with the main characters at all. If I did, they would probably not be interested in yet another average human being.

Precisely. This is why I have yet to provide an answer in this thread, as I am trying to think of a world where I would get some kind of benefit purely based on existing in it. So far I haven't come up with much of anything.

But to provide some kind of answer, it wouldn't be a bad choice to pick the recently begun SJ manga Psyren. Absolutely everyone there has psychic powers, though dormant, so theoretically with my meta-knowledge of the world I could exploit this somehow.

... I'm not sure. On one hand, I'd love to live in the Bleach universe or Naruto universe... but in those shows, we see so much of the good and so little of the bad. I mean, people kill each other there, and hey, that's not right. But it's portrayed as good. >< I know I wouldn't be able to kill someone else.

Maybe the Prince of Tennis universe, but I'm really bad at tennis, and like others have said - there's no guarantee that I would meet my favorite characters or whatever.

Well, I guess - when it comes down to it - there's no place like home. ;)

I think it would be cool to live in the Pokemon or Yu-Gi-Oh World, maybe not as much as I used to but us old fans know what each other mean.

But I would like to like in the Trinity Blood world since it is set way beyond our time and when architecture is magnificent and there are kingdoms again and etc. I'd like to live in the Empire.

But I wouldn't want to live in the Death Note world because Kira may kill me because I get lazy sometimes.
