Batman villain in the next movie?

I'm not a hardcore Batman fangirl, so it's hard to say what villians I would like to see or speculate on whether there will be any more. I think I'm with RD on this one--more is better, but this is nice, too.

What Batman villain do you want to see in the next movie if there is one?
I'd like to see either Two-Face (since Harvey Dent is in The Dark Knight) or Deadshot.

Deadshot: Would be cool, but has already been introduced in the animation. This may make it difficult to introduce him in a full film.

I think the Ventriloquest would be a perfect addition to Nolan's take on Batman. He doesn't have anything super natural about him. Plus Nolan seems to focus on the mob aspect of the Batman story so Scarface and Dummy would fit in perfectly. The only problem they would have is that Ventriloquest isn't really well known outside of comic book fans and fans of Batman TAS.

Also, the Clock King would be a great villain as well.

I think the bigger problem they'd have with Ventriloquist/Scarface is the absurdness of a bunch of mobsters taking orders from a wooden dummy.

It's kind of like that interview that was linked earlier where Nolan said he wouldn't want to do the Penguin. The Penguin has no superpowers, it's just that he doesn't "fit right" in the kind of universe Nolan created.

Mr. Freeze is definitely my favorite Batman villain. Such a sad story --makes me empathize with him. (Plus, his ride at Six Flags Over Texas looks like pure win --I don't like roller coasters, but it looks cool. I just would probably never ride it. )

I also like Catwoman --but I agree with whoever said it--that if they bring Catwoman into this they should act like Halley Berry never touched the role.

It's a testament to the quality of Batman: TAS series that the back story it provided for Mr. Freeze, original to the animation, won an Emmy and became the cannon origin story for Freeze. I don't like what the comic did with the characters subsequently, though.

Eh, I wouldn't put too much stock into a ride's credibility just because it's a movie ride. There was a Batman ride at Six Flags Astroworld (in Houston; since disabled) and it was terribly painful (especially for my male family members and friends).

Holiday (the killer from The Long Halloween) is a problematic villain for a film, since to my knowledge he/she/it is never actually seen, except briefly when commiting various assassinations, making him more of a plot device than a viable antagonist. That, and the Long Halloween is brimming with Batman's rogue's gallery, a number of whom Nolan has dismissed from his universe. Not to mention the plot directly overlaps with Two Face's backstory, already covered in the Dark Knight.

Ah but the Batman ride at Magic Mountain, CA, is awesome! Actually, The Riddler's Revenge, also at Magic Mountain right next to batman is one of the best roller coasters I've been on. It's also the worlds largest stand up roller coaster I believe. Or it was anyway.

If I had more faith in movie makers, I'd say that would be the ultimate point, but who knows if they'd even get around to it if that is the plan.

The villains I'd like to see the most are the Riddler and Catwoman.

Ah, I know which one you are talking about (being from the Houston area) --yeah, my cousin tried to get me to go on that...I was like "no way". But Mr. Freeze's ride in Arlington looks a lot more fun --no standing up the whole time and no weird seating. Not to mention that the park in Arlington is just great all around (though I do miss Astroworld).

Anyway, like I already said, Mr. Freeze would be an awesome villain if they made another movie. (Good thing Arnold is busy being the Governator. )

I now have a strange desire to see Bookworm as a villain, even though he only showed up in a two-part episode of the old 60's TV series. He wants to steal the Declaration of Independence. Not because of a map behind it, just to steal it 'cause it's old and one-of-a-kind.

I'm also on board for Bane. Oh, and Azrael! A psycho good guy. They could get rid of the Angel of Dumas mysticism if they want.

Shiny! He could actually be pretty awesome in Nolanverse. There's just enough realism in his character to be workable.

They could give him the split personality angle, since Two-Face doesn't seem to have it in this series.

I was just reading up on this actually.

[SPOILER]Even though on the end of the film, we do see a public funeral for Dent. But that doesn't prove if he is alive or dead. Some guy on a forum said that after falling alongside Batman, he brang up the point that maybe he ran away and went to a camp or a warehouse upon rest and recovery.
But I gotta say, in The Dark Knight; you know, I don't care about Tommy Lee Jones, his Two-Face sucked. The new Two-Face.. Man, thats what he's suppose to look like.[/SPOILER]

But in regards of a new villain, after discussing this with my buddy Nolan, I came up with a pretty nifty storyline for one of the more recent Batman characters.
The year; somewhere around 1993. Bane was born.
What I was thinking, Bane, a skinny geek mommas boy type character of some kind falls in the hands of a freak military experiment as a Guinea pig. And obviously it goes horridly wrong, turns him into a huge muscular freakazoid (Possibly a good role for former Pro Wrestler and current UFC fighter, Brock Lesnar). Anyway, he freaks out destroys the whole regiment of scientists and soldiers and escapes.

Anyway, some other good suggestions for the villain are:
- Yes, I agree, Two-Face would be superb.
- Riddler.
- Mr. Freeze.
- The Penguin.
- and as I elaborated on, Bane.

I guess it's all up to the director and writers.

Considering that I have not read or watched anything Batman related except for Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, I do not feel especially well qualified to suggest new villains. Nonetheless, a qucik wikipedia search on Batman villans turned up two that seem like they would fit: The Riddler and Firefly. My vote would be for them.

Batman at SF : MM is awesome... Riddler is bad for future generations of Bobtheducks....

I only like smooth coasters, and Batman and Superman are both smooth, but batman is actually fulfilling for time in line vs time on the ride...

I think Ahnold forever ruined Freeze... Well, Ahnold and Schumacher... So I don't think Freeze would work... If they were gonna go more classic, you know there's Catwoman and Riddler... Too bad Ledger died, otherwise we could have seen a Harley Quinn in the next movie... She wouldn't work without Joker, though.

I would really like to see the Riddler as well. He could be just as crazy if they get the right actor. I believe Mr freeze does not have super powers but is just some genius when it comes to ice and what not.

which pretty much qualifies as super-powers since what he does is more "superscience." If you get anything with the super descriptor, Nolan does not want.
