Military move

Postby choklit » Mon Jul 14, 2008 4:12 pm

I just moved here to Maryland, which explains why I haven't been here in a month or so. I was just wondering if anyone else lives here, and who else is in the military and had to move.
So what's the speed of dark?

ive been a MB pretty much my whole life.. it has its good points and its weak points. I too was in the AF for a little while only to find out i am dislexic and not qualified for the job i was doing. i was given a chance to go infront of a board and appeal the decision and get a different AFSC but decided i was tired of the BS and wanted to go home. now i miss it, the friends, family i should say and pay was nice... food was good. ah the memories but yeah i know how you feel..hope you like maryland! are you in the military yourself or your parents? my old roommate is stationed at FT Meade. tell him i said hi if youre around there lol jk.
Love is that feeling you get when a girl looks at you and it feels like your driving a car at high speeds and experience a sudden drop. You know what i mean? That sudden sinking feeling you get in your stomach? Yeah, that's love. Leave's you speechless everytime.

My family moved to Maryland when I was two and we've been here ever since. My dad wasn't in the military, but my grandfather was so my dad, aunt, and uncle lived in a lot of different places growing up.

Wow... so quite a few people from here live in Maryland. That's pretty cool, as I am used to being the only one from this side of the Country most of the time. I don't live in MD, but I was born there and can drive there in 10 minutes :p

My Dad is in the Navy, so we just arrived here yesterday from California. I've never been on the East coast before, and it's reallyt different. Really green, actually.

Ah, that is cool, I have family out in California and around the west coast. One of my friends has a father that was in the Navy, so he has moved around a lot, but he is on the east coast now as well, that is where they stayed too, once his father retired.

I've been in the military for 23 years. I've moved (PCS'd) 12 times. My last move was from Korea to Alexandria, VA in 2005.

Welcome to the NCR (presuming you're near the DC area). Perhaps you are in Annapolis?

I am an AF brat. We moved to 4 states before my dad retired. I never lived in Maryland, though.
