Simple iTunes problems

Postby SnoringFrog » Thu Jul 03, 2008 9:08 am

Okay, I just got iTunes today ((had some free downloads to use, otherwise I wouldn't have botherd)).

Overall, I think I like it all right, but I can't figure out how to do things that are pretty basic in WMP.

1. How do I edit Track/Album info? I've got a few songs that are missing their album/artist that I need to update info for, but I can't figure out how to get it to let me type all that in.

2. Can I play all tracks from an album/artist w/o making a new playlist?

To edit info (I find it easiest to do this from the general music folder - topmost folder) just right click a song and select edit - or click in one of the empty spaces underneath the column you wish to edit.

As for playing all the tracks - sure! See that handy-dandy search feature up in the top right? Make sure you're in the music folder again instead of a specific playlist, and then type in the artist's name, and it will narrow things down to just songs from that artist.
