Is anyone else getting this game this week? I heard the series was really good but I haven't played any games in it before, my girlfriend also said the game seemed pretty good so I pre-orded it, I just hope they get my cow in!

I’m probably going to rent the game this week, seeing how I bought a game last week, Metal Gear Solid (GC). My friend on the other hand is getting it tomorrow, I believe.

Looking forward to playing it! :thumb:

I was making the same grumble sound when I went hunting for the game yesterday, Hitokiri. I guess the shipment date was yesterday (the 16th) and the stores around my area aren't getting it for two more days! So, I'm also ordering it offline.

I don't thing the poor guy at eb was prepared to watch a 21 year-old girl have a full scale tantrum when he said he wasn't getting any copies for two more days. After I ripped down several shelves and kicked out the glass in the display cases ... well ... needless to say I'm certain I communicated my disappointment quite clearly.

Bahahaha...scared the poor guy half to death, didn't you, Gypsy? XD

Calbhach is more into that than I am (heck, I only played Friends of Mineral Town to the third year and said to myself..."I'm not getting any farther without the help of those gnome...sprite thingies...so...eh...") so if anyone buys it, she will, but I'm thinking it's a safe bet that she'll buy it. I don't know when she plans to do so, though.

I just got mine today. I accidently, when filling out my order from on Amazon, put expidite shipping which means I pay $9.00 for shipping and handling to get to my house from 1-3 days. It was shipped out this morning and got here this afternoon!

Anyways, I've played for a good 4 hours and I must say I love the game already. It's so cool...well....it reaks of awesomeness. It's soooooooo much different then the regular HM games but then again it still has the same feel of it. However, I miss the picture of the character on the dialouge box when you talked to them.

So far I can't decide to marry Muffy or Celia, have one cow (starty off with it), several crops, and I have 1 hen

Oh yeah forgot to add...each season has 10 days. However, each day seems to drag on long so it almost amounts to an entire season in HM64 or BTN. I played for 4 hours and I may be in the 5th of Spring.

well i love the game but im most likely going to give it away or throw it in the garbage. It causes too much probelms. I want to play my game I bought but my sister is pretty much hogging it and crying over the fact that I play it (im pretty much starting out while she's 3 years ahead of me). It errupted, can't play video games over the weekend and I almost broke my game by throwing it and gamecube upgainst a wall cause my sister wa sbugging the heck out of me.

whew....needed to get that out

oh yeah i busted my face on my gamecube...it hurts

Whoa ... good thing Nintendo makes sturdy systems ...

Anyhoo, I bought the game yesterday (yay!) and I'm liking it so far. There's a lot of changes, which is a good thing, I guess. There's now an overhead view while you're working in the garden, and the plot you're working on actually is highlighted so you don't have to guess anymore! However, has anyone else noticed this part of the game to be very, very touchy (like you have to tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap tap to get the right plot highlighted)? I'm trying to figure out if it's the game or if I've killed another controller.

no its the game. I noticed that too. So far I'm on year 1 Winter (would be on Year 2 if my sister didn't act like it was her game ::grumble grumble:;). I have so far some chickens, a sheep, 3 cows, and horse.

I'm getting married to Muffy (btw you marry at the end of th eyear...if you don't by Year 2, your game is cut short). It's fairly easy though.

I wish thier were more days. Als O feel I didn't get to know Muffy that much. One reason why I love HM:BTN soooo much cause you have to get know the girl you want to marry.

I was talking to my friend the other day and she said she read in the Nintendo Mag. that they're making a version where you can play as a gal. First for the series, I think.

Anyways, arg... I still can't find a copy of the game at the rental stores....

no i found it rather small, which was another dissapointment. What basically the map is your farm, central downtown which is a few buildings, a road leading someways to a Villa, a small swamp which directly south of the downtown area and then the beach. Near your farm is a small little forest and then thiers a river and across it is a waterfall

heres a map I just map

the green dots are trees, the blue stuff simbilizes water and the brown stuff is roads.

you dont feed your dog...well you don't have to...you can get it produce and stuff

You find it I think on the first day there I think.

I havn't played the game since Monday. I've kinda lost intrest in it (mostly cause my siser is on it for 24/7 and trying to get her to get off it is like pulling teeth so I thought whatever so I stopped playing it....you tell her she has one minute and she drags it on for like an hour)
