To my dad. I know he doesn't have an account here, but I love him anywho. He's not perfect (and Lord knows no mortal being is), but he's always been there for me.
In the past, he used to joke the he had "the gift of anger." Sadly, though it was no laughing matter. True, that he was always quick to repent of his anger and bitterness, but the cycle continued. Over the last few years, however, the saving grace of Christ did a work in him and, through long and painful trials, grew within him, a patience that he had not known. Now, he rarely raises his voice in irritation at our family and is passionately striving to take back the years which he lost to his harmful and painful habits of the past. He is a new man, a man for whom I have great respect. I love you dad, Happy Father's day.
To my Father, I thank you for never leaving, nor forsaking me, no matter what I did. You are everything to me. I am your's and you are mine. Holy is you name. HALLELUJAH!
