Honestly, I don't use a catchphrase most of the time. I find that silence accompanied by a triumphant smirk is much more effective, especially after victory.

Otherwise, I say "Not this time," often enough that it could be considered my catchphrase. For example, someone tries to pull a super move on me in Street Fighter, and I easily counter it. Then I say, "Not this time...." :thumb:

I don't know if I have a catch phrase, but a word me and my extended family say when we are frustrated is:

HAGGIS!!

Don't ask me why. and there are many others... :brow:

"Leave it to me to do things the hard way." Also, "Don't divide it by zero."

Words to live by.

(My more serious catch-phrase, though, is "This is only a moment in eternity.")

I don't need to post my biggest catchphrase, because you should all know by now... (almost said it... I do it naturally now... Anyhow...)

My second most common phrase was stolen from a friend... Er, I stole it, I mean (passive voice is bad grammer and so is half of everything else I do and stuff) That would be "Just Joking" i say it when I drop anything or almost (or do) break something...

Hm...oh yeah. When I'm playing Halo with my friends, right before I get the final kill or something, I say "Boom" in a very quiet voice. I mean, REALLY quiet. Almost impossible to hear. Oh yes, right after I say that, if they don't hear me, they DO hear my click "R", meh.

My friend puts his name as Mr.Rodgers in a lot of games such as Halo, 007, and Timesplitters 2. When I beat him I love to say "It's not such a beatuful day in the nieborhood any more huh Mr.Rodgers?!" That always gets some laughs at parties.

my old one would have to be "only on thursdays"

for example, a random baddie from school comes up to you and says your dumb, you respond "only on thursdays"......basicly its a win win situation for you...yea...dont question it..

In a very loud and over the top manner I yell, "STRAIGHT AND NARROW!" while I bring my right hand in karate chop fashion down upon my open left palm to indicate the "straight and narrow path." Usually done in response to some off color joke by my friend who lives across the hall, which he only makes to elicit the response in the first place.

That's A Lot Of Nuts!

Postby TwilightApostle » Mon Mar 29, 2004 11:38 pm

Catch word: Word.

Catch phrase(s): "Charlie Murphy!" (said right before I either slap someone or shoot them in Halo)

"Remember that time I wasn't killing you? Yeah, me neither." (Said right before I take care of a particularly nasty enemy in Gladius)

I don't have many catch phrases, but I do use hyperbole enough to make it a catch phrase in itself. For instance, if my friend ribs me, I usually say that I hate them in every conceivable way, or I tell them that I'll hunt them to the ends of the earth.

Hmm...I have a tendency to start my sentences with 'Yo', 'Dude or 'Man' when I'm online and I say 'Safe' alot when I'm talking (which basically means 'your kool' or 'thats kool') e.g 'Thats well safe!!!'

It really annoys my m8s :D
