What about if a guy acts like a girl or a girl acts like guy,is that form of Transvestism?
Just wondering.

That would actually be transgender. There are subtle differences in the definitions between those three words (Transvestite, -gender, -sexual), but transvestitism is simply wearing clothes of the opposite gender (which kind of runs parallel to transgender in most cases anyways, but akgjkagj I'd rather not go into it that much. XD).

But I think it only works if the guy is EXTREMELY thin, and the rest of the attire and accessories have to match too (rock-emo type, I guess). So a person who can pull it off well is rare IMO.

That both qualifies and disqualifies me. I am extremely thin, but I'm not quite emo. Steam/Punk/Rock, yes.

Actually, it's all about the cut. Girl's jeans are typically wider in the seat area. It's only if you're wearing those drainpipe jeans that you have to be as thin as a rake, whether you're male or female.

Bootcut jeans look good on anyone.

Lol,, but if you really think of it. It could be due to a couple of things. Girl t-shirts tend to have.. Well, girly prints on them There's also the size thing as well ^^ A regular shirt for us could easily become a belly shirt for guys. Depending on their build. So, yes, it may look odd, but if they want to wear it. Then so be it ^___^

It's a very cultural thing that we females can get away with wearing guys' clothing, but in many the difference is only slight anyway. If I thought that I could get away with wearing an Indian Shalwar Kameez every day, I'd do so, because it is one of the most comfortable, modest clothing items a girl could have...but if you change the coloring and design a bit, a man would be able to wear. Kimonos are similar in this manner. Comfortable clothing that is modest! Woo-hoo!
I realise that in Middle School I dressed so much like a man it was scary; I'm glad I got some sort of fashion sense finally(especially since I'm graduating).
I don't think that those crazy males wearing female's clothing is good in any way; it just kinda puts down your defenses later when it is serious. What was once risque is now whatever. That's called systematic desensitation. I don't know; it is kind of funny some times when guys wear girls' wear in jest, but all of the time? What your group is known for? That's just weird, if not immoral.

HAH, YES. I have a friend who happens to be a leader at my church, and he had this "problem" with his wife. She kept wearing his pajamas without "permission." So he put on one of her dresses, on top of all of his clothes, just to prove a point, wearing it to dinner and everything. But the plan kind of backfired because she took pictures on her cell phone, and showed it to everyone at church. =D

I dunno if I'd wear girlpants, but I'm liking certain tighter fitting clothes lately. Like stretchy "muscle shirts". They're more comfortable, breathe better, and are nicer for agility and such. Good for breakdancing in too. Even if I wear them under a hoodie. BEST OF BOTH WORLDS right there.

Oh my goodness. I'm such a humungous Abney Park fan it's not even funny. I'm glad that more people are discovering them. I'm even amongst the fan photos they have on their website.

I think this has a lot to do with where you live, and what kinds of subcultures are prominent there.
