I haven't been too active here lately, and I'm probably going to become even less active at least for a while.

Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursing it with eager feet,

Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say."

I should have posted a while back, since I have been largely absent. I may be absent more in the future, but not permanently! (Or at least, it is to be hoped, not permanently...)

I've been having really serious health issues of late. I've suffered from Crohn's disease for many years (my first symptoms where when I was 17, and next week is my 47th birthday) and over the last few years it has become very severe. First, I stopped playing soccer, then I stopped taking my sailboat out. Then, I quit the church council because I couldn't keep up with my duties, and I began taking days off from work. I don't practice my music anymore, except very infrequently, and lately, I can hardly even write or draw (I'm normally a prolific writer and a so-so artist.) Others in the family are having to do more and more of the cooking, and you could hardly keep me out of the kitchen before.

The last few months have been a new low for me, and it seems my digestive system is now failing to even get my vitamins into my bloodstream in sufficient quantity. I'm now on a special diet, and I'm taking 5000 mcg of vitamin B12 a day and 40,000 IU of vitamin D three times a week, and the jury is still out on whether any of this will work. I think direct injection into the bloodstream comes next.

So, I will be here from time-to-time , but not often. Today, we have virtually no work to do, so I'm killing time by getting onto my forums for the first time in weeks (except a couple forums for fellow sufferers.) This is an improvement, actually. Previously, if I had a day like this, I would head home and crawl into bed.

Anyhow, if I don't talk to you guys for a while, God Bless and take care of yourselves. I'll be here whenever I get the strength, because this is one of those rare places where you can really feel the love. I hope you guys never lose that, because it is really special.
May the Lord bless you and keep you.
May He cause His face to shine upon you.
May He lift up His countenance and grant you peace.

I feel that God has been calling me away from here for awhile now. I've just been too reluctant to leave until now. So, I guess this is goodbye for now. Not sure when I'll be back on, if ever.

I too have been feeling a leading to go away from CAA for a while. So I'm taking another fast from CAA (Facebook, Dogster, and Youtube as well). I've just been spending way too much time online to the detriment of the cleanliness of my room and to the doneness of my schoolwork. I need to step away for a while. Not sure for how long. I need to get back on track...

So goodbye. You guys have been such an encouragement to me. I shall miss you. *hugs to all* *Pebbles waves goodbye*

This is my last day of posting before I begin my forty-day internet fast. sparx-san, thanks for agreeing to hold down the fort on the Lair's thread, brother. I regret to say I won't be able to clean up after you guys on the wolf pack's thread, so be good. Hope you'll be able to find a replacement 'till July. I'm leaving my computer until May 29, due to lots of depression and crappy crap like that. =P I hope that being away from the things that have caused me stress will allow me to learn a thing or two about not dwelling on the past, and moving on. o.o

Has it really been 5 months?

It feels like 10 years have already gone by.

I doubt very many here remember who I am, but to the few who did, hi, it's nice to see you here again. That long break I took was really beneficial for myself.

To those who don't, being the majority, I suppose I'm left to start at scratch again to make a name for myself. I'm here to stay, I hope, for a long time.

Gosh, so much has changed...

...

Definitely had no expectations for him to be the first. Nope.

So, how is California treating you now then?
