Aria Licensed

It's hard to find great clean titles, but Aria certainly fits into this category. It has been licensed by Right Stuf International. From ANN:

"Right Stuf will ship the first box set of 13 episodes from Aria the Animation on September 30, and the set's DVDs will include Japanese audio and English subtitles. More of the anime, which includes the next two television seasons Aria the Natural and Aria the Origination as well as Aria the OVA ~Arietta~, will follow thereafter."

This is a series that is worth investing in.

Yep, I heard about this and reported in the Anime license deals for North America thread.

As for getting it, I'm not sure.

I was a faithful reader of the manga, and remember getting excited over news of an impending adaptation into an anime, but I was afraid it would be cheesy or trite. It's a good adaptation then? Does it retain it's charm and sense of dignity?

Well, I've bought other Right Stuf subbed titles and I have to say the titles that I've bought are subbed to perfection and maintain the quaility of the anime as well as stay (moderately) true to the manga.

Are you asking if the manga and anime go hand in hand in regard to the charm and dignity? If that is your question, then yes, the anime is every bit as charming as the manga and follows it step by step for the most part.
