Praise for my mom

Postby Hitokiri » Sat Mar 27, 2004 6:15 pm

I just want to thank God for protecting my mom and her friends. They went to Fort Wayne for a Women's Ministry and last night, my moms car was vanadlized. Tahnk God she wasn't in there when that happened. They were trying to break into her car to steal the c.d. player and what else and they couldn't get in. Well, they must of slipped and the crowbar slipped through the window and busted the window. They ran away after that and fortuantely, didn't steal anything from the car (there were some expensive stuff in there). Thank God that my mom was ok. Also our kitchen sink is plugged up, our clothes dryer is busted, and my dads aquarium's heater went on the fritz and started boiling the water thus killing all the fish.

Please pray for our Financial cause we will be shellin gout lots of money for the car and sink and dryer and the aquarium.

Im sooo glad she's ok. Imagine if she walked up on them as they were doing that?? ::shudders::

well apparently where it happened was the Christian Womens Convention thing was at a stidum and so my mom and her group parked at a nearby store where that happened (in the middl eof the day mind you). My mom was surprised it didn't happen at the hotel cause these kids were popping peoples tires.

Anyways, also thank God that were safe coming home. They had to put a tarp over the broken window and my mom was sooo stressed out and panicky. She thought she was going to crash and die cause of the tarp (it was flapping in her face and creating such a loud din that even yelling, they couldn't hear eachother.)

Praise God your mom and everyone were safe. And I'll remember your prayer requests, as well.

my moms totebag was stolen in the process. What coul dof happened was they couldn't get the car open so they decided to bust open our window to grab her totebag thinking it was a purse...well..all that was in there was a library book and her Bible...hopefully they take a look at it.

as my dad always says, "If they stole it, then they must need it more than I do." I really hope they discover how much they need what was inside that bag :)
