I need helping finding something!

Postby Shao Feng-Li » Fri Apr 25, 2008 7:40 pm

I need a switching adapter for my external hard drive. Mom fried the one that came with it.

12 volt 1.5 amps.

I'm finding a lotta car adapters, but that ain't what I need.

The hard drive is one of these.

Radio Shack has the switching adapter, but none of the plug-ins fit.

Help? :(

Have you tried the company that makes your hard drive?

I have a store near by that sells stuff like this. Have you gone to Radio Shack and asked for a Multi-voltage adapter? You might be able to find one that does the level you need, but it might be hard to find a 1.5 AMP one.

Radio Shack has the 12 v 1500mA (1.5 amp) adapter that I need, but not the little part that plugs into the back of the device.

Well, can you splice the old connector into a new power supply? Do you still have the fried one?
