Follow these exercises until they become second nature to you. Then perhaps you will avoid panic if you are ever unfortunate enough to be mugged.

. . . why is it all in English?

Apparently, we English-speaking gaijin are dangerous, murdering, pillaging sorts, since they feel the need to learn to plead for mercy in our language.

I suppose it's to be expected, given the intense training and formula that goes into any sort of interpersonal relationship over there.

See Japanese marriage training, for instance: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BrjcMJdEZIQ

On the other hand, due to their rigorous English lessons, they will only be able to report these crimes whilst doing aerobics! Japanese weirdness + Japanese xenophobia make for an interesting mix
The scientific method," Thomas Henry Huxley once wrote, "is nothing but the normal working of the human mind." That is to say, when the mind is working; that is to say further, when it is engaged in corrrecting its mistakes. Taking this point of view, we may conclude that science is not physics, biology, or chemistry—is not even a "subject"—but a moral imperative drawn from a larger narrative whose purpose is to give perspective, balance, and humility to learning.

Anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge

Hasta la Vista, baby!
Embraced by a gentle breeze, my heart breaks as I think of you.
All alone at the top of the hill, I watch as the seasons go by.

Wishing for courage softly, I pray.
There's no going back now, to those tender days when you held me in your arms.

And now that you know those phrases, you're ready to visit an English-speaking country!

Thank so so muchly for it. I am go to America very soon, very very worry how to say if this happen.

But their English is a lot better than the Engrish we normally expect. I say that if aerobics can teach Japanese people to pronounce Ls and THs, it's worth it.
