I once had a dream.. j/k :P

Seriously though, I did have a dream where I was stabbed in the gut o.o This guy was jealous and thought I was cheating on him. He said he would kill all the female members of my family.. then me o.o; When he stabbed me I kept telling myself it was only a dream over and over again, so I would stay asleep. I really wanted to know what happened :P Anyway, when he stabbed me.. I felt this very very bad cramp irl.. >_>;

THE END right? Nope, it went all soap opera on me :P I was then in this casket and the 7 dwarfs were gathered around my casket :P John Black from Days Of Our Lives appears and says,"It's not to late. We can bring her back to life.", or something like that :P He had this sort of serum or something like that :P It was interesting to say the most ^^

My theory on flying dreams (based upon observations of how it 'feels' in the dream) is that they are a distant memory of being picked up and carried around as a baby. You look out at the world as you fly 'high above it' (from a baby's perspective) so the parent really isn't part of the picture.

I remember having a dream a couple of times (back in high school) where I was a cat and was being chased by Jack from Jack in the Box...he had a net and was chasing me on rooftops and down ladders and alleys...
I wonder if....hmmm...maybe I shouldn't eat there anymore...:sweat:

I think the dreams that bother me the most are those relating to my mother. She passed away too long ago for me to remember her (I was three years old) and all my life, I have had occasional dreams about trying to meet her, or looking for her, or even seeing her in the distance, too far away to see clearly. Nearly forty-five years after her death, I'm still occasionally visited by these, and it's a saddening thing to wake up from.

I also have recurring near-nightmares, that I'm told a lot of people my age get, of suddenly realizing I have a test coming up, but I haven't been attending classes at all, (or even have forgotten I was enrolled in a class.) College years must have been pretty darned traumatic for me. If I had gotten any sleep during that time, then maybe I would be able to remember why....

I had a scary dream last night. Ever have one of those dreams where you're being hunted by someting, and you're trying to run but you can't lose whatever is chasing you? And then you try to hide somewhere and you're heart is beating like a bass drum but it can sniff you out, and then when it goes away, you become more calm but you know that it's still out there looking for you and you're traped in the same room with it knowing that sooner or later it'll find you and kill you? Man I HATE dreams like that!!! I was chased by a bear. A man eater. There wasn't anywhere to hide! and the places were easy to find. I hid a shower stall with a curtan and the bear found my sent, so before it got any closer I spike climbed the walls in hopes that I wouldn't get seen. Thankfuly, it worked and I was able to escape the room and lock the bear in. But what made matters worse, is that it wasn't the only bear in the house anymore. It layed eggs and they hached into huge bears. So I was in a house full of man eating bears. Now what!?! Well, I saw a small open window and dove through it, just in time too. A bear almost took off my foot. This would be about the time I woke up.

And I escape in almost all of these dreams, but there was a time where I didn't escape which was scary. I was chased by a T-rex into a ditch and right when it bit into my leg, something in my room fell over and I woke up. I almost screamed it really scared me. That kinda makes me wonder, how many more dreams like that will I have in my life??? ._.

I've had some interesting dreams. I've been eaten by a dragon (but was "reincarnated" instantly as another person also running away from it -there was a number of us). I've been chased by a leopard and by a fellow high school class member who was a dog. I don't know where that one came from.

One particularly bad one was when my sister pitched up at my school and told me that her (then) boyfriend-to-be/(now) husband was eaten by a shark. I texted him in the morning and told him and he got back to me saying that he was on holiday shark (cage) diving! :wow!: It was weird since he hadn't told me at all about his plans for the holiday.

Mostly I don't remember my dreams though.

Dude, no, I LOVE those dreams. Haha, I love the thrill, which is weird because I'm not really that addicted to movies like that (although seinen manga? YES.). I don't get bears, but I usually get some kind of human force, like mafiosos or corrupt government agents or sketchy pharmaceutical company hitmen. I'm always on the run, and sometimes they catch me (>_>) and kill me (>_>;;;), and sometimes I'm in some kind of resistance/guerilla group. Haha, I'm WEIRD.

T-Rex dreams are no good for me though =(

I dreamt that I was walking down the streets of New York, which is funny, since I've never been there.

I was carrying groceries, when all of a sudden I heard laughter behind me.

THere were three ghosts. One had an ax, one had an arrowhead, and one had a butcher knife.

They chased me into an alleyway, and held me in a choke-hold against a wall.

The one with a butcher knife was just about to slit my throat when I woke up.

I had this dream when I was 4.
Clairvoyant dreams are fun, but can be frightening.
My Mom had dreams when my grandparents both died...and that's happened to me, also.

Oh, and in a reply to the joke dreams...

I once had a dream about God and heaven.

Aargh, Nate's dream about being ran over by a truck and waking up tired seeped into my dream XDD

I was crossing the street and there were tons of cars and trucks come at me from both sides o.o They weren't there when my mom and nephew crossed the street o.o The street really isn't busy at all o.o It's actually one of the streets near the old Primary School. I was crossing it after my mom nephew did. All of a sudden it got really really busy. There was a truck coming towards me and all of a sudden I couldn't move O.O I tried moving back, but there came another car o.o Besides, I couldn't move anyway :P

I think I woke up, so I'm not sure what happened ^^;

I once had a dream where I had amnesia. When I awoke, I forgot everything.

No, seriously, I really did have a dream where I had amnesia though O.O It was me, my mom, dad, and aunt. We were on the turnpike. My dad was driving and my mom was siting in the passenger seat. I was sitting in the behind my dad and my aunt behind my mom. We were going really fast. My mom was yelling at my dad to slow down. A semi truck slammed into us from the side. We were sliding all over the place. I remember praying to God to spare everyone else and take me instead. We then go over the edge. As we fell I remember seeing the water below us, but the scene faded out.

It then fades into another scene. We were all at home sitting on a green couch. I sat nearest to the armrest of the couch and my mom to my left. My dad went upstairs (we don't/ never had an upstairs irl) to get a family portrait or something like that. He comes back down and shows it to me,"This was when you were little." I wandered around the house, but that's about it ^^

I seldom remember any dreams I have, but I do know that when I was 5 or 6 I had multiple dreams where I was being chased by the child catcher from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

OH entertainment-stimulated dreams.

The original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory gave me nightmares for weeks. The blueberry girl in particular almost made me cry.

Also, a puppet show when I was in elementary school. The puppet had a creepy red face, and I kept seeing it singing a song over and over in my dreams as a kid.

You may get the thrill, but I get the fear. For me, It's always something that wants to eat me, and I don't know why. The weirdest has to be the one where I was chased by a giant starfish and I got away by riding on a push lawn mower. O_O

Anyways... After watching Eragon for the first time, I dreamed that I was a dragon rider. That was the most awesome dream I've ever had in my life! (apart from those dreams where you discover you can fly. I love those dreams! :D )

I forgot to mention--The most vibrant dream I ever had was when I was in elementary school.
I happened to be the leader of a group of martial arts masters (kids in my class). This evil ninja guy kidnapped my frienemy (she was such a spoiled brat :D) and held her hostage. Me and my crew had to fight ninjas to get her back--on the playground.

Then there was this dream that I was a member of the Amazon Quartet in Sailor Moon. Skimpy outfit and all. I was practicing my 'billiards' technique, trying to knock out someone's Heart Mirror.

Food in dreams taste so real. Then I wake up craving them.

i actually had a dream once where this skeleton man was trying to kill me, and when i woke up, i had two long scratches on my back... i have no idea where they came from.

i dont have long nails (cause i bite them) so its not like i could have scratched myself or anything. it was really weird. XD

I get reeeeaaaally weird dreams, and I love em. xD I once had this dream where I was going to Disney World with my friends. As we were walking, the fire guy from the Fantastic 4 kept randomly crashing on the ground. So then we went into this building, and some guy with the chin the size of a watermelon asked me a personality question. My friend, who isn't the type who gets scared easily, hides behind me. So then I answer the question, and walk in the ride. We went through whirlpools and stuff like that, then I accidentally hit the back button on my browser, and I was trying to go back to Disneyworld via the internet because I was afraid of what my parents to do.

My life was able to be controlled in a browser...

I read somewhere that dreams are just our brains' way of checking itself out. Sort of like how computers run a self-diagnostic check when they're booting up.
