War Wounds and Returning Heroes
(The remaining Guild members and their allies stare at the slowly advancing troll army. Zilch shakes his head.)
Zilch: We can't take that many...
(Shatterheart cleans his sword, not raising his head as he speaks.)
Shatterheart: Well, guess what? We're here, and there's no escape once they'vve come here, so we're going to make sure there's much less of this scum by the time we're done here.(He stands and raises his blade.) By this weapon, the Foecleaver of the Grand Poobahs of Yore, I shall never rest until this evil is wiped clear of our Lord's earth, even if pledge shall take me to my death!
(There is a reverant pause amongst the warriors...then the silence is broken by an irreverant voice...)
Voice: Shatterheart...that was horribly cliche'd...
Zilch: Hey! I wrote that!
Inkhana: (stepping into the light) Well, you also left me out of the last scene...
Zilch: (shrugs) Point taken...
(Inkhana unslings her Great Fairy Sword.)
Inkhana: Who's up for whooping some serious troll butt?!
Calbh: Count me in!
Zilch: Booyahbooyahbooyah!
Lightbringer: I'm bored...it'll give me something to do...
Skynes: Let's do it!
Inkhana: Hey, aren't you supposed to have an accent?
Skynes: Yeah, but the author finally realized he couldn't do a proper Irish accent...

Spencer: Melody Maker! How many of ours are battle ready? We need all we can get for this rumble!
MelMak: hmm...lessee...Ekul and CobaltAngel have taken some serious hits, they're out of this for a good while...umm...Drix, Duckie, and Ronnie...Cephas and Saint Kevin are okay, just a few scratches, Locke is seeing to them..and...Kirakira has ROS.

Shatterheart: (shrugs) Official hero anger word.(pulls out "Good Guy Exclamations, Volume 3") Right here, page 29.
GRG: Ohhh....
Spencer: Can we get back to business?
Calbh: Oh, right!(drops her research in Good Guy Exclamations) CAA might go under a horde like that, even though they could hold them off for a good while...we can help...but we need a day...could you slow them down a bit, Shatterheart?
Shatterheart: This bunch?...I suppose...but it won't be easy...
Lightbringer: Did I mention I was bored?
Shatterheart: Sure. Meet you back at CAA.
(Shatterheart and Lightbringer leave.)
(Back at the GRG, Guild members are healing wounds and sharpening weapons. Duckie is piling up bazooka shells, as Ekul is selecting the right hammer. Everyone is quiet...except of Kirakira screaming her sudden influx of slightly crude Japanese words. Calbhach gathers everyone together.)
Calbh: My fellow Guild members, my troops...my friends...now is out time! Our time to rise and rid the world of this evil force! Are you ready to fight?!
GRG: YEAH!
Calbh: To die for your friends if nessessary?
GRG: YEAH!
Calbh: To do your homework?!
GRG: umm...uhh...
Calbh: Can I copy your work when you're done?!
GRG: YEAH!
Spencer: To CAA!!!!!
(Guild members charge out...not before they all get stuck in the door, of course...)
Spencer: Get off my head!
Drix: Once you get off my leg!
Calbh: Ack! My arm is stuck!(She gets it free, only to smack Kirakira in the face.)
Kirakira: (Japanese word for spoothead)
Zilch: Oh, man! I gotta sneeze!
(The pile gets blown forward with the blast. They get up, not without bumping into each other a few times before they finally manage to march off with dignity...At CAA, Ashley's members are hard-pressed with the troll onslaught.)
Straylight: (taking off a troll's head with bladed nuchakus) We can't hold off these buggers forever, Ash.
Ashley: I know...but...where's our help coming from?

In Flander's Fields, The Poppies Blow...Up....
(Arriving at CAA ahead of the GRG, Shatterheart and Lightbringer assess the troll horde doing battle on the outskirts of CAA territory.)
Shatterheart: Aw, spoot! We can't take much more of this!(whips out radio)This is Grand Poobah Shatterheart, giving Code 3 at CAA. We are under massive invasion by troll forces at grid coordinates Alpha Juliet Three Niner...oh...(looks over his shoulder at the GRG staring at him. He tosses the radio away.) Just in time!
Spencer: Where's the Anime Angels?
Calbh: Duckie went to raise support over there...but we have no time to wait for him...we attack now!
(Calbhach and Spencer outline their battle plans. Meanwhile, Kefka is overviewing the battle with delight.)
Kefka: Bwahahahaha! CAA is falling, and soon, the Guild will be within striking without their allies!
Random Troll: Sir! We have incoming projectiles! Approaching sectors 45, 39, 4-
(The troll's report, along with his karokeing days, are cut short by 50 caliber bullets that seem to grow from his mouth then the rest of his body. Kirakira screams in sadistic delight as she fires the 50 cal. into the masses of enemies from the lead tank. Two other M1 Bradley tanks appear on different flanks of the battle. An explosion rocks Kefka's troops, as trolls fly in different directions, the unlucky ones getting torn apart in midair by cover fire from an unexpected Anime Angels gunner squad in the hills surrounding the battlefield. An air transport drops Zilch, Inkhana, Spencer, CobaltAngel,Calbhach, and the Master Chief(AKA ZiP) into the heat of battle at the front lines. ZiP immediately attaches a grenade to a small troll and tosses it into his comrades, the result spewing fiends into the air. Spencer and Calbhach are an unstoppable duo, swinging, slashing, parrying, and clotheslining those foolish enough to get in their way. Inkhana is overcome with battle fever, and becomes a one-person troll-wreaking crew, weilding her Great Fairy Sword as if it were a dagger. CobaltAngel is leaping to the rescue of beleagured groups of Alliance members that are under heavy fire. Zilch is defending the gates of CAA next to Shatterheart, Gypsy, Ashley and Lightbringer; as members make a tactical retreat into CAA.)
ZiP: (throwing another "gifted" troll to the foe) Fire Support Group Delta Romeo Delta, requesting tactical nuke strike, over?
(In a F-22, 10 miles away...)
Duckie: Roger that, Chief. Fire support inbound. Requesting clearance of friendlies in bomb radius, over?
ZiP: Evacuation in progress. (switches radio channel) This is the Master Chief to all Alliance forces! We have an incoming airstrike! All forces retreat to CAA!
(The Alliance fights a fierce backwards motion, moving back towards the heavily guarded gates. The Guild runs back with the rest, dealing death to those that would hinder them. All members are inside, but the gates aren't quite closed yet!
Zilch: Kirakira! Man the flamethrower and keep these guys off our back until we're inside!
Kirakira: Aye, aye, Zilch!
(Kirakira runs to the stationary weapon. Sighting down the barrel, she unleashes a 500 foot blaze into ranks of trolls.)
OOC: You happy now, Kirakira?
Ashley: Close all entrances! Bar the gates!
(Alliance members manage to close the door after the usual everyone-gets-stuck-in-the-door-until-someone-sneezes-and-launches-people-into-orbit routine, of course...)
ZiP: Fire Support Delta Romeo Delta, friendlies clear. Authorization to fire at will.
Duckie: Which one's Will?
ZiP:...all of them...
Duckie: Roger that, Chief. Nuke ready, firing in 3...2...1...Fox Two! Bomb's away! Returning to base.
(The last thing half the troll army sees is a firey mushroom cloud...as for those not hit...remains to be seen...)
